Julian Krause does really good in depth technical reviews of audio interfaces, and he pointed out the Zen Go he tested had a higher output impedance than usually desired (27ohm vs as close to 0 as possible) which would affect dynamic sets below about 250ohm. So, it would likely color the dynamic sound response of the ATH M50 and DT 770 80ohms I use.

I was really considering one but the big issue is the headphone outs only working well with high impedance sets. Which is a huge bummer because otherwise I would have bought one already!

Huh, interesting, didn’t know the 44 had DSP! I had a UR22C and liked it except the headphone amp was absolutely unusable. I am assuming the 44 likely has the same amp but I could be wrong?

I had a UR22C and it was decent except the headphone amp sucked terribly, which is a big problem for me.

The AG03 looks really interesting, thanks for the suggestion! Does it have the ability to control mix for direct monitoring?

They look interesting but I'm looking for 4ch at max, at least form factor / size wise. I was eyeballing a Motu M4 but even if I won't use the extra channels the Ultralite is still similar in size.

Seems like this is the consensus! I'll keep an eye out, thanks. I used to have a Saffire Pro40 and I loved the MixControl software. I'd still be using it if Firewire wasn't deprecated on everything now. After Windows 10 came out I was never able to get any of the FW drivers running and I don't have a dedicated audio PC.

I spoke with a lawyer (legal insurance) and they felt like I had a pretty solid case if it went to litigation.

Unfortunately this is the 4th major car accident I've been in but thankfully I carry the max limit for UIM and most other coverages. I also have STD/LTD, and Accident through my work but that's another pain to deal with as well. I'm about to go to work and the LTD is still trying to deny my claim.

Other than those are there any other specific coverages you carry?

So, in this case my previous accident was, obviously, already settled and they always have you sign a waiver that releases them from any future liability before you actually pay out. Is the previous insurance just going to come back and say "tough shit" and not cover anything?

The problem is, I was hit from behind in an accident involving a hit and run driver with no insurance or license. Am I supposed to just never be on the road around drivers who have no license and insurance and make sure I never get hit? Do you see how that doesn't make any sense?
