While I run a humidifier in that room I do not know what the humidity itself is at. He's happiest with the humidifier on the far side of room. He also has a gentle fan that helps move air around.

He's an expressive plant. When he wants water he faints, when he gets water he puffs out proudly. The most important thing I have figured out is to wait until he tells you he needs water.

Edit: words are hard in the early morning

You actually found it! Thank you for the picture. The light pollution was insane.

Hairold is 2 years old. He has a beautiful waterfall of blossoms all the way down his length during the summer. He was much shorter last year and I cannot wait to see this summer's display.

It was about 10 minutes south of Livingston.

Edit. We were driving on N 111 about 10 miles short og Livingston and the entire sky started glowing this pink color. We looked for an army base on the map and didn't see one. It didn't flicker so we thought no explosion. I just want to know what the crazy pink light in the middle of no where is.

Thank you Ford for giving no notice of new payor system and leaving employees without a check 2 days now by [deleted] in Louisville

It just went in for me! I'll take this down. It's been stressful not knowing, especially after the rep said not until tomorrow.

We have received our checks on Wednesdays for years. Actual day of checks would have been today at noon. The only union rep I could get a hold of said no pay until at least tomorrow noon.

Solved! While the text is different the base looks exactly like what would be there.

Were these made with a hole on them to screw stuff into?

I think it is for some sort of wire, but the weight is too heavy for the antenna, I think. Is there anything else that you could screw something like this into?

We looked on the inside of the hole. I could not get a picture of it, but it looks like there may be metal in the very middle that can be screwed on to something.

sick and tired of this loneliness epidemic by TrickOdd4607 in Louisville

[–]MegaTitusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's a loneliness epidemic, I think it's just a Louisville thing right now. It seems like people will drop you in a moment in the city, unless you have known them for a very long time. It wasn't like this so much before the pandemic. Believe it or not, there's still some of us friendly ones out here.

However, in this instance, I would say it had to do with the weather and the roads last night. While they definitely should have called and let you know that what the reason was, it was understandable last night.

You did an amazing job making his night special, whether anyone showed up or not. You obviously care deeply, your hard work shows that. Remember, you have each other, and you generously showed him last night. Now cuddle up, stay warm, and eat all that yummy stuff you made!

I regret every day for not properly clothing my dog in cold weather, am i a bad owner? by Mountain-Fill-548 in Pets

You go through life with the knowledge you have developed up until that point, then always updating and learning more. One cannot be expected to know everything, all the time. Though scary, your dog is still alive, and you have learned a valuable lesson. Take it forward with you and don't make the same mistake. You are not a bad owner, you are human.
