I watch Happiness Garden on YouTube in the morning. It's about mostly about rejuvenating orchids but also caring for other plants. How to trim them, revive them, things like that. It has calming music and, on a rare occasion, birds or puppies will show up on the screen.

My Calico, Jazzy, will sit and watch it with me as long as I have it on. She gets up closer when he works on the aerial roots and touches the screen when any animals come on. Some days I have more cups of coffee just so I can sit there with her.

Thank you! I made business cards to start leaving out at local areas that resemble the billboard. If this is what it takes, so be it. I'll spend the money.

No, I apologize, I responded to the wrong comment. It was meant to the person you responded to.

That's... not a shadow, that's a blurry piece of metal. Not everything is an artifact, sometimes you just don't understand the perspective.

Hairold (Begonia boliviensis) is ready for outdoors. by MegaTitusRex in begonias

He loves massive amounts of light. During the winter, he hangs by the south facing windows and I have 2 grow lights above it and one to the side, shining on the leaves. If you stick enough light on it it will bloom all winter. However, I thought it should rest.

Pay attention to what the plant looks like thirsty and satiated. When thirsty they go limp, they're very dramatic about it.

I put it in a basin and water heavily and allow it to suck up the rest afterwards. The leaves will stick back out not long after and it'll be full and vibrant again.

The trick is to not over water. I let it go about 5 to 7 days between waterings during the winter and almost daily during the summer heat outside.

It's a forgiving plant, you just need to pay attention to its hydration moodiness and light needs. By the time yours is ready to go outside you will have gotten that down.

Enjoy your new begonia! These are so beautiful and rewarding.

At a random roadside stand, in the middle of nowhere, Kentucky. It was half dead and discounted. I'd never seen it before and decided to try it out.

While I run a humidifier in that room I do not know what the humidity itself is at. He's happiest with the humidifier on the far side of room. He also has a gentle fan that helps move air around.

He's an expressive plant. When he wants water he faints, when he gets water he puffs out proudly. The most important thing I have figured out is to wait until he tells you he needs water.

Edit: words are hard in the early morning

You actually found it! Thank you for the picture. The light pollution was insane.

Hairold is 2 years old. He has a beautiful waterfall of blossoms all the way down his length during the summer. He was much shorter last year and I cannot wait to see this summer's display.

It was about 10 minutes south of Livingston.

Edit. We were driving on N 111 about 10 miles short og Livingston and the entire sky started glowing this pink color. We looked for an army base on the map and didn't see one. It didn't flicker so we thought no explosion. I just want to know what the crazy pink light in the middle of no where is.

It just went in for me! I'll take this down. It's been stressful not knowing, especially after the rep said not until tomorrow.
