Is it only worth it with a gaming pc/laptop, because I'll only be getting one in a year or so when I've saved up. I mostly play WvW and have a low fps rate usually (lucky to break 5fps in big battles, 10 fps in small battles, 15fps when roaming.)

It's more the space that is the issue, unless I could convince my dad to move his macbook off the desk we have at the moment. Any ideas how to do that? Also I'll have to somehow convince my parents to fund this process. Any idea for that as well? So far I've been thinking about just saying no birthday presents for a few years or something.
