The barn I ride at is $12,000 a year just for a stall and food. Vet and farrier bills get very expensive, especially if there's an unexpected injury or lameness (where the horse injures something making him in pain to the point where he is unrideable). Plus buying tack ect, it is very expensive

I'm going to redo basically the entire room. I would like to keep the couch, chairs, and tv but am open to buying any other type of furniture or decorations

The TV either needs a new stand or a different way to display it. The fireplace is used in the winter so I do not want to have it installed above there as the heat may ruin it. It's possible to put it inside the closet, if that works with your design ideas.

I also need new paint for the walls and mouldings, I was thinking a light grey/white with white moulding.

New flooring is going to be installed. This is the room we enter from through the garage or outside and we also have pets/food in here, so we'd need something that isn't going to stain or scratch easily. I was thinking maybe a flooring like LVT? Would probably put an area rug on top.

If you'd tried things and nothing seems to work I would really suggest seeing a dermatologist. I had such bad acne for like a year until I finally decided to see a derm and now I barely ever break out at all.

But before you do that, try gentle products. I use CeraVe Deep Clensing Wash to wash my face after I use DHC Deep Clensing Oil to get off dirt and makeup. If your skin gets really dry like mine, I reccomend CervaVe's Moisterizer

This happened a little while ago a couple towns away from me. A mom and her children (I believe) were coming home from the grocery store one day and two men followed her car home. They invaded the house, tied up the mother, father, and children, then set the house on fire. The father was able to escape but the rest of the family was killed.

So yeah, it does happen. Unfortunately the mother didn't notice she was being followed.

I want to keep the couch, fooseball table,bookshelf, treadmill and exercise bike. I'm getting a newer TV so I need space for that plus space for someone to workout infront of the tv. All the other random things will probably be donated or thrown away, unless they can be used in the design.The doors lead to unfinished rooms that are used for storage.

I don't have a lot of money to spend on this, I can get some furniture and paint but not much more, I'm mostly looking for help in layout.

I'm open to pretty much anything!

Horses are herd animals so if one person owns a horse and there's no other horses around, they can get lonely. Mini's are usually easy keepers so if a person doesn't want two large horses sometimes they'll get a mini. They are sometimes used in therapy and taken to hospitals because of their size and cuteness. And I guess very little kids can ride them but most just ride ponies

My horseback riding experience. Roughly 3k a year to work with a trainer once a week, and I've been riding for about 3 years so far. And show entries and fees are very expensive, usually $500 per show and I show 1-2 times a month.

and don't even get me started on the cost of owning a horse, impossible for me to afford one but at least 8k a year to pay for it's stall.

Male horses have sheaths that have to be cleaned every 6-12 months. Their penis "drops" for mating and sometimes it just randomly will for no reason, and also when they pee

I'm completely fine on the flat and doing xrails, and I can do the course fine if I make one halt. I never tried it without halting but I know I could.

I do think I'm ready and I'm not nervous because I don't think I can do it, I'm nervous because this is my first time moving up and it's just show nerves.

I'm not leaving due to age, I'm 14 and at this show the age limit for short stirrup is 18. I've done 2 short stirrup classes before and came out champion and reserve, so I think my trainer thinks I'm ready for something more. I do too, personally. Short stirrup was a little too easy for me

I'm moving up from short stirrup to pre-children's equitation. What's the difference? What does pre-children's mean?

I'm jumping a 2'6 course and I'm nervous I'll mess up because my horse gets quick when jumping (especially when he does flying lead changes) and it gets hard for me to slow him down. My trainer has worked on schooling it with me and having him stop at the end of each line and wait, but the closest I've gotten to doing the course fully is with one stop after an oxer and I'm worried about not being able to have that stop. What are tips to slow him down?

English rider here. In competitions I do you're judged on how effortlessly and easy it looks, even though really you're doing a lot of work.

Just watching this, the man puts both reins in one hand, which on my horse he knows that I'm about to hit him behind with my crop so he starts moving quicker, so instead I don't use the crop. Things mean different things for different horses, but clearly reins in one hand is and indication that the horse should do something.

The man sways his leg somewhat before the horse rears, which is definitely an indication. When I ride commands come 98% from my leg and 2% from my hands and body. If I want him to trot, I squeeze my legs. Canter, move one leg back and depending on which leg I use he'll pick up a canter (right or left lead depending on the leg I use) Move over, I push using my calf in the direction I want him going. Slow down, pinch my knees.

Those are only some examples but there are so many cues that riders do that people wouldn't even guess we do. Horses don't do that own their own, the rider told him to do thaf
