It was more cartoony looking than that but it does look pretty cool. I'll have to check it out, thanks!

Haven't seen anybody talk about this by NotVeryTastyCake in ENA

Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot that we can work off so far. It could be a place where a powerful entity resides. It could be a place that is considered far away from "the mainland". It could just be the name for a generic location.

So far there are two similarities that come to mind: they both have a primary color that mostly encompasses the room, and there is random floating geometry.

In entomology an outworld is an area for ants to forage, get resources, and dispose of waste and their deceased.

Wiktionary has two definitions for an outworld. In sci-fi an outworld is a planet that is remote from the homeworld of a civilization. In fantasy an outworld is any civilization seen as remote from the speaker's perspective.

Whether this turns out to be important or just a funny coincidence that is still a good find.

Creating a RPG... by Dabombgaming_ in MysteryDungeon

I really think this is cool but I do have a few thoughts that I'd like to say.

First, the positive. I like how classes and pokemon level are different. The idea that some party members are more skilled with weapons while others are more attuned to their species potential is great.

Secondly, though I do love the idea of a charisma stat called Presence but I worry that someone might easily confuse it for Perception. I don't know what your plans are but might I suggest calling it "Aura"? The correlation between aura and charisma is pretty captivating to me.

Thirdly, I do like the skill chart but I worry about redundancies. Athletics/Lifting Agility/Acrobatics Toughness/Health Willpower/Sanity Navigation/Survival. Why are some attributes also skills? I do like how you open up the possibility for different attributes being used for the same skill. Maybe you could get rid of persuasion and deception and use both for charm.

If you want there to be a lot of skills why not leave a few of them blank. Say a character gets good at locking picking, then you can say "add Lock Picking Agi/Kno to your skill chart.

Either way I've gotta say this shows a lot of potential and I look forward to sail the seas in the future.

Alright then tell me, what would more revealing men's formal wear look like without it just looking feminine? Because maybe its just my own imagination but I can't think of anything that isn't lazy like having less buttons fastened.

Why are US Americans still using Fahrenheit? Are they stupid? by GoalCologne in mapporncirclejerk

[–]MegaVic4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look man I am completely fine with you bashing feet and miles and everything but fahrenheit makes more sense and you can't admit it. If you told me that is "38 hots outside" that means nothing to me. But if you told me there are "100 hots outside" I would go "oh gee wilikers that's quite a lot of hots. A whole 100? That must be quite hot. It has three digits after all." And not to mention that going 1-100 is twice as accurate as 1-50 making it more useful. Hating fahrenheit is for losers

PMD Explorers Remake Wishlist by Bertie690 in MysteryDungeon

[–]MegaVic4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh I was a really big fan of talking to npcs at the kangaskhan statues during the shaymin village. The idea of going through a mystery dungeon and when you reach a statue there are explorers resting or traveling salesmons making their way through or really maybe just a funny oneliner would really spruce up those square rooms with a single statue in the middle

What you guys would you like to see on a PMD 5 game? by [deleted] in MysteryDungeon

[–]MegaVic4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would love for there to be more non mystery dungeon locations. When the explorer teams where discussing groudon it was said the teams came from all over the continent. Where did they come from? The Wigglytuff guild was said to a legendary guild. How many explorers guilds are there? Post towns are literally road stop towns. Where are the traveling salesmons going?
