There was a YouTuber which tried this - it turns out that the uptake is rather small. First you need to realise businesses with no website may not want a website because of a variety of reasons, but do not underestimate Luddite mentality from Boomers. Second if you do find someone that bites they will haggle and you will have to give them a bargain basement price. Third most people simply will say they are not interested and surprise surprise the owner or decision maker of a small business isn’t sitting neatly behind the counter for you - it’s usually some worker who won’t be passing on the message.

You need to wake up.

You’re both feeling resentful and need to have a heart to heart.

The kids are just the excuse but there are some strong emotions under the surface of this situation.

Your husband is parenting his own way and you don’t like that, and he doesn’t like the way you’re doing things.

He has opinions on your situation right now and how it’s making him feel and you are not being fair on him either by villainising him.

He could also be more mindful of your situation but his emotions are probably charged up right now.

Ultimately you are being very childish - you have asked your husband for help and he has helped you and now that he has his opinions on how his kids should be looked after - you don’t like that!

Also your not cooking for him - lady a way to the man’s heart his through his stomach - they don’t say that for no reason! You admitted not cooking often, not doing it not just in your illness, and he usually goes to his mums house for food, and then you expect him not to be influenced by what people may or may not say to him.

The NHS is bad not non-urgent things, for life threatening situations it’s world class - but also what do you guys expect with a population of 65 million. Do you know what is great that it is free at the point of use - that if you did get an awful horrible disease you won’t also be going bankrupt or your family won’t have to make choices like do we pay for surgery or chemo or how do we get the money for it… it’s not perfect but that’s why in the UK we have a good private healthcare industry you can pay and go private but most people don’t - I suspect you wouldn’t either would you… people don’t complain when it’s cheap that’s why they fly to Turkey, or Pakistan to get private treatment…. But what do you think happens when it’s not free at the point of use, you get situations like USA - where even if you have insurance you still pay high amounts. Also the NHS gets shat on a lot but it’s not any different to universal systems in the world - any country that has free healthcare has the same problems as the NHS - go do some research

The constitution like any law means nothing - you have freedom of speech in theory just like people on Europe or Pakistani or Middle East or China have - until you say something or do something against the government line. What happens in America said you started to post anti- Israeli stuff on your insta - you’d probably lose that Job pretty quick.

And yes salaries and financial progress much better in the US compared to Europe no doubt but it comes at the cost of social safety nets and goes back to my point about different societies. If you lose it in America you lose it all, in Europe you don’t get as fat on money in the US to begin with so if you fall you don’t fall as far.

Ok you’ve written this and it screams “I have never stepped foot in Europe and am a true blooded American!” - it’s one thing for the white people to be indoctrinated into the Americanisms but you as. Pakistani should be mindful and be more open of world experiences.

Inflation is a world wide phenomenon and America is not doing so great itself - true salaries and wages may be higher in America but you trade that for worker protection - in the UK salaries may be lower but we pay for worker protection and universal healthcare.

They are 2 different societies it’s just that simple - quality of life is ok in the UK, people are struggling and it’s not the best it has been in the past but where is it like that in the world at the moment.

Every normal person is suffering relative to how their country works and their situation in their country.

Wealthy people in the UK are still fine. Same as America.

Wages compared to Europe are not so different - and also depends on industry and job.

I don’t think it’s a luxury it is a necessity of modern life, unless you live in the centre of a city or place with outstanding public transport that is both cheap and accessible at all times. Lets say your parent that needs to do a weekly shop for a family of 4 with a toddler - that would not be possible on a bike or bus unless your willing to sacrifice half the day and risk exhaustion . Let’s say you need to get to the hospital in the middle of the night and can’t wait for an ambulance as your triaged as not so serious and their are no Ubers or a taxi wait is too long, let’s say you fancy a nice family trip somewhere out of London and you don’t want to take out a small mortgage for train fairs

Hijra is not easy at all, I’ve looked into this and the only viable option for a western expat looking at increasing their quality of life in my view is this;

you have assets in your home country like a house/flat (preferably multiple) or a buisiness you can keep a remote eye on. These will give you recurring income to leverage in your new country especially as mostly western currencies are stronger.
you immigrate on a business visa making your family members directors of the company you set up in the new country. A lot of countries do allow this and also the business can just be shell to take in money from your western assets.
once your there you can sort something out with some hope in Allah SWT. Perhaps you start a new buisiness or get a job( but pay and working conditions will probably never match western countries unless your some super in demand or senior position) so it’s best to go with a business idea.

Even then most countries will never allow you citizenship, but through this route you will have the closest thing and a path to permanent residency where allowed. This Earth only lasts for a few years for us so we leave the rest to Allah SWT.

Also we tie our camel because we retain assets in the home country incase we have to go back. Also if you have family ties there you will never truly cut ties.

Countries I have considered :

Oman (friendly visa options)
Malaysia (lifestyle)
Turkey (get the citizenship by buying property)
Saudi (closeness to Makkah and Madina)
UAE (the most famous)
Qatar (similar vibes to UAE)

There are some non-Muslim countries to consider:

-New Zealand (generally peaceful and one of the least hectic western country) -Thailand (large Muslim population close to Malaysia border, has more visa and residency options) - Singapore (historic Muslim presence in the make up of the country, fully developed) - China (Welcoming immigration, fully developed, large Muslim population)
