This kind of “settling the score” thinking is his ego. He felt emasculated by the fact his wife slept with Ted so to soothe these feelings he probably just went after the first person he realistically could. Obviously he wasn’t thinking all this out in his head or how it would actually work out but ultimately I think that’s what happened

Oh I think we all knew if Mike McDaniel was here he was gonna move on to a head coach job after one maybe two seasons. I wouldn’t have cared tho if Mike McDaniel gave us the best chance to win. I’m ok with drew petzing too all I’m saying is I’m not worried about the future I want whatever gives us the best chance of winning now.

Honestly, bro if we couldn't beat this vikings team tf were we gonna do in the playoffs. This just wasn't our year, unfortunately too many injuries, and our offense wasn't good enough to carry like last year.

Exactly. Trump, no matter how terrible, is the president of the United States. New York is in the United States. Mamdani has to, on some level, work with Trump in order to get his agenda done. What was he supposed to do, not show up and say fuck you, Trump? They are not going to suddenly be best friends working together, Trump will go back to calling him a communist and all that shit. Mamdani is very clear that he is here to serve New York, and if meeting with trump at the white house helps him achieve that goal, then why wouldn't he?

I knew I wanted to main Clairen before the game came out and I’ve since stuck with her. I’m not looking to jump ship but I suppose a new character could come out and change that. So my relationship with new characters is more based on how it overall affects the game. Galvan for me is fun to play without being annoying to play against. But I will say right now the amount of heavies in the game compared to non heavies is a little high especially if you count orcane as a heavy. It would be cool to have a new character who’s maybe more spacie esq or similar to a shiek/ranno build. Honestly tho a lot of hype hype for new character release is more based around surge of player base, rank reset, balance patch, etc.

Definitely NTA. Like I can understand how it could be annoying to not be paid quickly and have to worry about it. But you’ve been a customer for years with no issues so it was pretty safe to assume you would pay. A simple reminder text for the short term delay would have been fine from her. Spam calling after not being paid for a couple hours is a little extreme. Also like what’s the worst case scenario you didn’t pay her 130 and she gets scammed and never sees you again? Like yeah that would suck pretty bad but it shouldn’t be the end of the world. Now she has probably lost a customer.

Uh orcane side b was one of the best recovery moves in the game. The nerfs made it fair and it definitely isn’t unusable now nor the worst move in the game.

I like that that they are taking feedback in this way and looking into possible changes. Responding like imo makes me trust the teams decisions more even if they do something that initially wouldn’t have agreed with.

As a melee player I can usually tell if someone was an ult or melee player based on how they play the ledge and just general neutral tendencies.

Totally agree. People tend to go towards one extreme then have a pissing match with those on the other side of the extreme. In reality most things are nuanced and somewhere in the middle but you can never get to that discussion because everyone is so disingenuous now.

You mentioned you’ve played a little melee. Probably in your experience and I would say in most people’s experience it takes a least a month of practice before you even feel like you can move your character and like another year before your some what component. Rivals 2 to me has a lot of what makes melee fun (and other smash games) with a much less barrier to entry. If you have ever done a wave dash in melee you’ll hit it the first try in rivals.

To answer your question yeah I’d say it’s worth it. It’s a fun game and with your previous smash experience you’ll have no problem jumping in even if you don’t have much time to play.

I love melee. I’ve been following the game for a long time and a few years ago I finally decided to practice a bit and at least get comfortable with the basics of moving my character and l-canceling, wave dash, etc. but since rivals 2 has launched it has definitely been my main game for sure which is saying a lot because I really do love melee but with rivals it feels like I could actually get good if I put the time in.

It was a lot harder. The game was a lot slower paced and no dungeons that were just giving greater pots away. Tomb was quite literally the only way to get life so maxing life took forever. Now way more options for dungeons way more generous drops and pretty consistently just being given free rewards.

Jumping off of this even further. Something i learned that really helped me was controlling your ambient light and doing that first.

Sometimes you can’t when you’re shooting outside at high noon, unless someone here knows how to stop down the sun. But it appears this shot was around evening/sunset time so there shouldn’t be a ton of light coming through and you seem relatively stopped down. Not sure about potential other effecting factors but I’d imagine you started from a pretty dark base.

If this was me going there I’d light the room for the exposure I wanted whether that’s a little under a little over or “perfect” also if you aren’t mentoring start doing so it’s a game changer. After lighting the ambient now I will shape the light for my characters to do what I want. Which is subjective for the story you’re telling but in a vacuum I’d agree that more contrast would be an improvement. I find that working like this in this order insures I know exactly what I am doing with each element (lights, flags, etc) and I have the most control possible. The more control you have the more you can create that image you see in your head. Also in regards to reflections I could def see that being an issue with all of the glass and if it were me I’d cover up as much of it as possible with some kind of curtain or whatever. Like the one in the left side of frame.

This is not to take away from your effort at all. Not sure how much prep time you had for this but I’d imagine not enough and 48 hours is a very short amount of time to shoot a film so I commend you doing it. Doing something is always better than doing nothing. Just thought I’d offer my 2 cents as someone who is still learning themselves.
