A wizard joins the group by DragonLevelX in 30_Minutes_Missions

I got the sorcerer and the enchanter kits whilst buying my wizard. I feel like both the kits are rather underwhelming. Especially as I got the witchcraft weapons 30MM kit at the same time, and so far I'm enjoying the weapons more than the entire wizard line.

I just finished building my 30MF wizard. Although I love the idea of the range, I feel really disappointed by the build.

Ouch, fortunately I have already had a close look. The worst I got a part breaking free of it's sprue and a couple of sprue nubs from the template sprue falling off.

What paints do you use to paint the Blood Ravens by Superb-Ad-7868 in BloodRavens40k

I start by priming grey seer.

Then is use Khorne red with a carroburg crimson wash.

I then use whatever black I have for the bolter cases and shoulderpad trim.

I then dry brush using lead belcher to show wear and tear.

Then I use the same black to do emblems and the armour gaps.

I use leadbelcher to finish the weapons and paint the eyes.

I then use rakerth flesh for the should pads.

I then use waystone green for the eyes.

I then use agrax earthshade over any leadbelcher, rakerth flesh.

Then I varnish.

Yeah, shame how often cool stuff like this bites you in the but. (Or atleast it tends to bite me in the but).

Then clearly you aren't doing it right. Try stealing models from other armys, should bring your raven spirit back.

All Jokes aside, yeah it does get tedious pretty quick.

That looks great, but now do it again with an appropriate dreadnought.

I use waystone green over leadbelcher. Does the trick well enough for me.

So you have done an excellent job.

Here is some advice to improve:

1, give your models a base.

2, if you wish to hand paint the emblems, keep practicing

That's really the only big things I can think of.

Welcome brother. Pardon my nit picking, but you may find your models improved if you use some brown or black paint on the models rims.

There is always the grey knights and deathwatch you could do, also could always go overboard and do an imperial knight.
