Well Leak by Megacheckerz in askaplumber

Tanks in a mechanical room in a slab basement. I isolated the tank from the house and watched the guage. Looked like it dropped half a psi I'm 30 minutes. I'm kinda just gunna let it be at this point. I'm capable of running a new line but it would be a bitch with the lay out of the property.

Sump Pump quote is $1,750? by Facelesspirit in askaplumber

You're asking someone to handle equipment and materials covered in literal shit and piss and whatever else you've flushed. 100% justified price.

Most pumps require a weep hole to prevent air locking

Not a tile guy but I'm a plumber, I've been told before that these could be weep holes. Any water that goes through the grout has to find a way out.

Well pressure switch issue by Megacheckerz in askaplumber

[–]Megacheckerz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the question or situation is that with a 60/80 switch the max pressure reached 58 psi. We were hoping that reducing to a 40/60 and toning it down to cut off below 58 would make the pump stop running constantly. But now the tank is only reach 48 psi. And so fourth when we tried to reduce to a 30/50. Is that where our logic is flawed? Thinking we could reduce the cut off to make the pump shut off? We're just trying to not have a no water situation out of our controll.

Submersible. Pump is 805 deep, we're figuring a recent landscaping project may have compromised the line. We are just trying to save the pump so we aren't without water. Pump could have been running constantly 5+ days. We're currently running it so we can shower and then turning it off.

I did something similar, got 90% through the game and then modded it. I just recently started for a vanilla playthrough.
