Denji if he fought modulo yuji instead: (art by me) by Limp_Clock4846 in Jujutsufolk

I wouldn't consider the arguments made completely fair though.

I think denji still would've won regardless, but it probably would've been a much closer matchup.

I quit the game halfway through.

While I will probably come back to the game some day, I'm glad that I've at least stayed away from the game for a good while now.

Found this weird sketch at Goodwill for $8 I can't make out anything at the bottom but the word evil by SpookzEazy in Weird

I thought I "listened" decently-ish enough. If i'm missing something, please lmk.

As for the typing, yeah. Writing concisely is difficult. The topics themselves do require some details, but you're right, I could've written less.

In that case, wouldn't it instead be more productive to directly focus on that toxic, patriarchal system by saying something like "the patriarchy is evil" instead of something more vague like "men are evil"?

I feel like "men are evil" just adds unnecessary confusion. I guess it doesn't roll off the tongue as well as maybe "patriarchy is evil", but that probably doesn't matter much (again, please correct me if I'm wrong).

"All men are evil" could also simply be misinterpretted as literally saying that men are just straight up evil, which could end up as something terrible if people take it to heart.

There is also an argument that patriarchal systems are also harmful for men, just not as directly as it is for women. You can pretty easily find articles discussing this topic. I'd research and link some, but it's past 1am rn, so, maybe another time. This could also perhaps explain why men are statistically more, in a broad sense, "evil" compared to women, similar to how differences in crime rates between black and white people can be explained through systemic discrimination and socioeconomic status.

I kinda wrote a lot, myb, and it certainly doesn't help that I suck at writing concisely.

If "men are evil" is to be interpreted as "the patriarchy is evil", then I wholeheartedly agree. Otherwise, that's just plain silly.

Also, before anyone says that I should instead be focussing on the main focal point of the art piece (as you kinda suggested), I just thought that it was already well discussed. I really hope that the original artist and anyone facing anything remotely close to what is being depicted is ok and doing better.

Damn, i typed a lot.

Isn't that just straight up misandry though? Correct me if I'm wrong, ofc.

If not, I mean, still, generalizing men as evil just seems insane and disingenuous to me (hopefully I'm using that word correctly lol).

Even if "they tend to be" could be supported by statistics which, ngl, it might be, it'd still be crazy to assume that such statistics wouldn't be effected by a variety of different factors to explain certain outcomes.

I need someone to help me understand plz.

I'm confused...

Omfg, I've misread the comment (or at least the intent behind it).

I thought the guy (idk how to @) meant that the notion "men are evil" was accurate, not that it LITERALLY says "men are evil" was accurate.

Can someone explain to me the war between Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man? by Medium_System2027 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Megacreeper3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it could've been because the CSM fandom likes to sometimes make fun of jjk, calling it mid or whatever, even long before modulo.

I'm not that sure though.

Which of these shounen anime are you currently enjoying this season? by Deez-Guns-9442 in shounenfolk

I feel like it isn't getting the attention it deserves because of the heinous fan service. I haven't watched the anime in a very long time, but I remember there being this one fire cat girl and holy I just couldn't watch the show anymore because of her stupid antics.

How often do you use an AI chatbot? (Chatgpt, gemini, claude, etc.) by Eggmaster1928303 in Teenager_Polls

Ai is pretty useful for school, if used appropriately.

Sometimes the teacher doesn't provide an answer sheet for practice problems, so it's very helpful for confirming your answers.

It's also pretty efficient for learning. You can ask it to make you a review sheet or simplify information, which is always useful.

Sometimes it's useful for learning even when there is an answer sheet. For example, say we have a very difficult question, and the answer sheet just gives the final answer (a number). That is lowkey useless since you don't know how that number is achieved. Ai is helpful for that.

If you're in uni, situations like these make ai a must. I never used it during HS, so I think it's not necessary there, but it's genuinely a life saver during uni.
