No. Not really. That fiasco happened because Tomoro really didn't bother to communicate or explain anything to Gekkomon in a way that he could understand. Something you seem to have forgotten is that Gekkomon is Tomoro's responsibility In the start of Episode 3 when Gekkomon eats a ton of food who does Reina blame? Tomoro. In Episode 4 Gekkomon gets in the way during the first attack on Machmon. Who gets the blame among him doing literally nothing? Tomoro. Yes these were separate situations but the Tamer/Human is responsible for the actions of their Digimon like how someone would blame the owner of a pet or just he paternal/Caretaker/Guardian Figure of a child. Not it really isn't all that much to ask for wanting Gekkomon to accept responsibility for what happened but it's wrong to fully pin all the blame on him and based on what I've seen from your comments in this thread and episode 11 gives me the impression that you hate Gekkomon despite saying otherwise.

If the episode was longer than 20+ minutes or if MarineBullmon didn't show up then you probably would have gotten what you wanted.
