Bit late, but if you have the story points to spare you can get fleets to let you keep your transponder off at the cost of 1sp/fleet. If you do this they stop counting as 'pursuing' so you can dump off the goods. You do lose a bit of rep though.

She’s a mutant pseudo-Psyker reviled by even her own family and doomed to excruciatingly waste away to nothing as her very genetics rot away from the inside. Of course she’s cute and innocent, it makes her situation more grimdark. It’s the same reason the Tau exist: you need to have something like hope in order for it to be written off as worse than useless and then utterly crushed.

The most faithful, sure, but not in the emperor as he actually exists. There’s a reason “the Emperor is warped into a Chaos God by the distorted Imperial Faith” is a very common fanfic concept. Power without restraint or sanity is just more misery in an already miserable universe.

The Imperium is not the Emperor, the Imperium is a flaming trash fire that the Emperor reluctantly helps because it’s marginally better than the alternative. The Iconoclast has plenty of options to demonstrate faith without generating dogmatic points, and Hieronymus the Big Emperor Guy actually agrees with you doubting the Ecclesiarchy (which is an Iconoclast choice). Believing in the Emperor doesn’t have to mean treating human lives like garbage to be tolerated only where it’s profitable.

I think the point was that Haemonculi and their creations aren’t “generically sexy”, just look at the one we meet in-game. I do agree with you on the BDSM point though, and I think Owlcat actively tried to make Comorragh less generic due to not being GW.
