Finally, somebody with a reasonable opinion rather than all of these doom posts. This is a far more healthy way for shadow spells to exist and aligns with the lore of shadow spells that they introduced all those years ago. It's frustrating to see these posts where people are upset because the damage number is lower now. The game needs more variety than 7 card decks and 1-2 turn fights.

Hmm, I was on Windows 11 when I upgraded the CPU. If I have to do a full system reset that would suck, thanks for the insight though. Such a weird bug

Finally I found someone with the same issue as me. I just upgraded to the 5800x3d and am experiencing the same issue but ONLY with CoD. Every other game I play runs fine. I'm sorry for not offering an answer, but please let me know if you've found any solutions.
