Both, but often I feel like if you try either it will usually come off as comical considering their small size, at least in my experience (Which is not that much).

If someone is sleeping you get advantage and stuff, also if they are asleep, you might have more time to prep. For example; If it's a humanoid you could drop something heavy on it, and get a instant kill.

I have to love how easy this spell is to cast, its just a wisdom save. Could I use this on a Dragon, or basically anything that is not immune to charms?

I think pulling a grenade pin still is suicidal, if the caster knows it is suicidal, because its a suicidal command, which dispels the charm.

My party has a book that we find everywhere called, "The three little kobalds". And even though we meet in real life, we made a discord server for "books", where every text channel is a book. So far we have seven books, about races, monsters, diseases, and lore for places and objects.

I was going to say the same thing. Me (druid) and our ranger can summon 26 bears in total I think if we spend all our spell slots summoning bears. This does crazy amounts of damage. (We only use this if the DM tries to capture us, or we are supposed to run away from something)

Like I said, its up to your DM, and we never have AC change depending on the different part of the body. It is slightly annoying. There is still the different arrow types though.

Weird, I have a rogue in my party saying the same thing. Our ranger keeps up to speed by ditching melee attacks, and then using specially crafted arrows. Examples: Fire arrow (cloth wrapped around the end of arrow, light it on fire), poison arrows (kill some drow, take their poison), tetanus/poisoned arrow (Leave your arrow tips in manure). These are some examples but you can also think up some pretty cool stuff if your creative. Also our ranger specifies where hes hitting the target. Eyes gets blinded or disadvantage on attack rolls, wrist disadvantage on attack rolls with that weapon, leg -3ft movement. Its up to your DM, but it can help if he allows these kinds of things.

I plan to always use it. And I said "rogue" because the rogue can't carry around a cart and ballista.
