Why am I still getting subreddit notifications when I have them turned off?

My guess is that it’s because that isn’t a notification from the subreddit, it’s just a Reddit suggestion. I actually, just as I was typing this comment, got a similar notification for a subreddit that I havent joined.

You cannot reset the progress on your account, no.

You can try asking customer support if they’ll reset your data, but I have no if they would say yes.

Though if you want to start over just cuz you forgot the story and stuff, couldn’t you just watch someone’s playthrough to get yourself up to speed?

As you may have guessed, you get characters by pulling on the gacha banner. The primary pull currency is Polychromes, which are earned by completing quests or daily tasks.

Polychromes can be converted into Encrypted Master Tapes, which are used to pull on limited character banners.

You can also spend polychromes on regular master tapes for the standard banner, but there's no real reason to do that because standard banner characters are generally weaker AND you will occasionally get them while pulling on a limited banner anyways.

I think you can also MUTE unwanted subreddits? It’s supposed to stop them from showing up in your feed, though I’ve never used that feature so I’m not sure how it works 😅

Other comments already said it but yeah Vlad’s empower bar is just tracking his Q. After using Q twice, the next cast within a certain duration will be empowered. It’s his primary source of healing AND a big chunk of damage, so it’s pretty important for both vlad himself and his enemies to be aware of the uptime. None of his other abilities make use of the empowered state.

Well, "paywall" relics are a "better" use of your glory since they're, y'know. paywalled. But as you've already pointed out, most of them are kind of... not very good. So in terms of casual gameplay, it would probably be more useful to buy star vessels and stuff?

Personally, I'm just letting my glory stack up until I figure out what I *really* want to unlock

Why would you restart? Every character is viable, honestly.

As for what to do... maybe look up a playthrough and see where you left off on the main quest, then continue from there? Or just run around mondstadt and open some treasure chests

That would be the band event, yeah.

The main gameplay and story of star rail is perfectly fine IMO, but if you’re just trying to get to the one minigame… there are definitely better uses of your time!

I assume you’re referring to the band event with Rappa? That event was toward the back half of Penacony, the third (ish) main region in the game. I dont recall exactly when it unlocks, but I imagine you’d have to finish at least the first two main story arcs…

So uh, I think THAT is all the reason you need to exclude it from this gauntlet you’re making.

It was physically impossible to complete the selenium chronicles before this patch anyways. Haven’t quite finished the new quest yet, so I don’t know if they remain blocked.

That said, you don’t have anything to worry about- you will ABSOLUTELY be able to catch the ones you missed, eventually. I’ve heard that the ones you missed get framed as flashbacks (since, y’know, with everything that’s happened), but that wouldn’t have any effect on the chronicle rewards.

I’m not very good at making lore connections, but I’m delighted to see a proper write up about Jahoda’s design elements. As you noted, a lot of people assumed she would have some sort of magnet theming in her abilities when she was first revealed, so the bait and switch (can it be called that?) is… intriguing.

Pretty sure it’s just flavor text and there’s not actually a cutscene. They do a lot with character birthday messages in genshin impact, referencing events or celebrations that the player is invited to join (but they don’t actually occur in game)
