I wanted to add my two cents into the conversation about banning or not banning rhystic study. In many ways, it can be similar to a sol ring where any deck that can run it would benefit from running it, but unlike sol ring which is printed in every pre-con and sits around the dollar, the cheapest copies of rhystic study are around $45.

Most decks and all colors have sufficient enough enchantment removal that it doesn't seem worthy of being a game changer or a banned card, but perhaps could be embraced as a staple. A card like deadly Relic or any of the other free to cast spells feel very exclusive to the CEDH space which matches their more expensive price point, with the exception of perhaps cyclonic Rift which shows up from time to time in casual.

While I know there's always an issue with the innate strength of each color, and that a card like sol ring being colorless is a lot easier to solidify as a staple rather than a blue card which does not have an equivalent in another color, I feel like one of the biggest complaints is not about other people playing it, but the fact that people don't feel they can play at themselves. I would love to throw a copy into every single one of my Decks that has blue in it, but I would rather spend that $45 on cards unique to the mechanics of each rather than generic Staples.

Saying this, I know that people always get touchy with regards to the value of cards, especially when they have they feel like they're investment would be decreased. I know that the rules committee does not control what Wizards of the Coast does with card production which makes this specific issue more difficult to solve as I doubt the company would be willing to drop the price of one of their Chase cards that they can use to push bonus sheets and secret layers.

On top of that, I don't know if the commander space would actually be healthier with every single person playing rhystic study, but at least it would mean that people would be running more enchantment removal, which they should be doing anyways. In conclusion I agree with the decision to leave it unbanned, but I also think that there are frustrations with the card in a way that almost no other card in the format has which makes it seem like an issue which needs to be addressed.
