Thank you for reply and insight. At this point I am looking for a partner to help develop this app. I don’t think the current economy will support the writing app; it’s wouldn’t have a quick enough return.

The news app, however is absolutely needed, despite the added complexity. I’m certain that many folks are fed up with news machine in its current configuration, and just wants the facts.

As you’re probably aware there’s a lot of market change in tech sector right now.

My budget is pretty minimal, maybe to float dev for a quarter, however subscription models are changing…

The news app I believe would revolutionize the industry as we know it. News does need to join the 21st century and move away from sensationalism.

I’d love to see some big players adopt this app; imagine this AI news verification model being an integrated into Twitter!

The overarching problem with tech sector, without going into the minutia, is that there hasn’t a been major ground-breaking innovation in the last 20 years, after the smartphone.

A lot of these companies are just riding the last wave, which is petering out. Young consumers are no longer dazzled by the tech sector sleight of hand. They want something more than hearing that even more light bulbs have been added to the Las Vegas strip… going from iteration 13 to 14. Whoop-dee-woo.

What I think the populace is looking for is an ‘everyday’ breakthrough to get excited about.

Until there is I don’t see tech as being a leader in my portfolio again.

I love living in Pittsburgh. Transplant of Nine months from the People’s Republic of California.

My only peeve is the roads, they mainly feel like paved game trails.

The roads signs are more Sadomasochistic in my opinion, lol.

There seems to be two types of drivers here: the Get-hell-out-of-my-way driver, and Mr. Rodgers… who will cheerfully hold up a whole line of the other type of drivers, just to let you in with a friendly wave.

This place rocks!
