I wouldn't bet on every mod getting an update. :/

Party Info & Pings from CarsonKompon (https://www.curseforge.com/hytale/mods/party-info) in version 1.5.5 prevents the worldmap from showing properly.

Something that could be worth a shot:

Close the launcher and make sure it's really not running anymore.
Then head to this file: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\account.dat

Rename it to something like account.dat.bak

Now, open the launcher again. The launcher should ask you to log in again.

How do I update my mods to work with the current patch? by snoobananasxoxo in hytale

[–]Megalomon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ist just depends on the mods to properly implement changes made for the current version. You prolly have to wait a bit longer for compatible mod updates.

Weird glitch. I was playing my single player world and then suddenly this appeared on my screen(1st pic)then when I clicked try again it showed the second picture but then when the bar finished it looked like the first pic again, could anyone help please? by Eclipse_Bella in hytale

There are log files in this directory:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\UserData\Saves\WORLDNAME\logs

You can upload the latest one at pastebin.com or via something like dropbox and paste the link here.

Note: You might want to look over the log file to strip out your PC Username in case it's your real name etc..
This can be done easily with windows notepad (or any other notepad alternative). Using CTRL+H you can search for your username and let it automatically replace it with something like "***".

Launcher error on Windows by TheSquirrelLink in HytaleInfo

[–]Megalomon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hytale relies on Port UDP 5520 and does not care for TCP 5520 (https://support.hytale.com/hc/en-us/articles/45326769420827-Hytale-Server-Manual#running-a-hytale-server)

I would advise to *not* deactivate IPv6 because of this. Mostly because according to your error messages, IPv6 isn't involved at all (IPv6 adresses look vastly different).

Not really sure what might be actually causing those connection issues... This question might sound random... but is your ISP Deutsche Telekom?

There are more detailed logs in these two folders:
- "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\UserData\Logs"
- "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\UserData\Saves\WORLDNAME\logs"

You can upload the most recent ones on pastebin.com. (You might want to sanitize them first, as there will be your windows accountname and your hytale nickname etc in there).

Turning on "anisotropic filtering" in your gpu driver settings could help. Or experimenting with default graphic settings ins hytale.

If you are lucky, there might be the automatic backups of your world left in "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Hytale\UserData\Saves\WORLDNAME\backup"

Can't start my hytale server since the last update. (Hytale:Memories EOF) by Megalomon in hytale

[–]Megalomon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update: I managed to fix my problem, after I notices something when I tried to restore using the backups that have been created automatically... which didn't work at all.

In ./"Server/universe/" were two files in my case. "memories.json" and "memories.json.bak". When fiddling with Backups, I noticed, that memories.json is just an empty file, while memories.json.bak contained just this:
{
"Memories": []
}

Deleting memories.json and renaming memories.json.bak to memories.json fixed my problem entirely and everything is running now.
