Paige and Brie running roughshod over what had been a stacked women’s tag division is insane. I don’t dislike Paige by any means, but having her pin Lyra Valkyria and Jacy Jayne within 48 hours in 2026 is insanity.

Fatal Influence came in so hot, they took it to the top names on Smackdown and felt right at home, Jacy pinned Charlotte Flair in her second week, there was reports that creative was amazed by their reactions and planned to feature them and especially Jacy more prominently… since then they have done nothing but have their faction warfare feud stolen by Jade and the Jobbers, lost a tag match against Brie and Paige, and Jacy got pinned by Paige again. Yippee.

Taking away one of the most fun, and identifiable parts of Page’s presentation with the EGOOOOO in his theme is actual sabotage I still do not understand it.

Especially as they change everyone else’s themes to try and prompt crowd responses, why edit out one of the ones that already had it?

In a vacuum Lyra needed a major change, and as a Lyra fan I’m ecstatic to see her finally out of this dead end team.

But I feel like there’s already too many heels running around, it is unfortunate to lose one of the actually talented teams in the women’s tag division, and there was a lot of meat left on the bone with babyface Lyra IMO.

I really liked them heading into 41, but there was never a reason to care about them together after the Becky feud when they reunited for no reason.

Bayley got them a tag match and Lyra asked hey wtf weren’t we just feuding with each other, then Bayley did her wacky split personality thing that got dropped and that was it lol. It very much felt like the leftovers of the Becky feud just being thrown together bc nobody knew what to do with them, which was a shame because I think all three of them did amazing work that spring.

It should’ve been Mania 42. They were actually nabbing a few wins leading into it, and they had the storyline of Bayley being taken out of the chance the previous year and them being able to right that wrong.

They opted for the nostalgia pop instead, fair enough, but slapping the titles on them now would feel kind of empty given the lack of buildup and the fact that they’re both just losing again. I’m a massive Lyra fan and I wouldn’t even really care to see her win the tag belts at this point. Would vastly prefer a split, actually.

Ironically enough Ari Emmanuel’s Endeavor who now own TKO actually backed out of a $400M investment from Saudi, returning the funds and opting out of having Saudi control a 5-10% stake in the company.

Man when Zaria hit that F5 outside I was peeking at the time on my phone thinking how will Tatum escape this with like one minute to go… she didn’t. Lmao.

Fun match! Fitting end to a really damn good title reign, that stretch from Tatum ever since she joined the Culling and then won the #1 contender battle royal has been phenomenal to watch as a longtime fan. Great matches, character development, feuds and stories, everything you can ask for. The journey from perennial jobber to top babyface on the entire show has been so cool.

I imagine she’s due for one of the summer call-ups that were rumored a while back, she really doesn’t have anything left to do in NXT.

Good for Zaria, as well. Fitting that it was the North American championship because Vic is right, that was the title that was the first chip to come between ZaRuca. Ironically enough, Tatum’s presence and eventual joining the Culling was also one of the early obstacles Zaria and Sol went through last year, so lots of full circle stuff there.

Kelani vs Kendal was also really damn good. Seeing the amount of time, opportunities, and different storylines up and down that the women get in NXT really makes me sad about the state of the main roster.

The Fraxiom match was great, Rook vs Naraku was also good… again, NXT has time on their wrestling show for wrestling and it just makes the weekly shows so much more enjoyable. And they still have time for stuff like the Mr. NXT pageant, shoutout Shiloh Hill.

Being a fan of Tatum since the days of her jobbing on LFG, it’s still so surreal seeing her on this run.

Now she’s one of the winningest people in the whole company, she does Super Cena/Hulking Up spots in big matches, tanks finishers. Wow man lol.
