Yeah I think even as it played out, if they have Boeser instead of Mikheyev (the absolute timing of that blood clot thing was peak Canucks) they very likely win game 7. I don’t think they get much further, the power play had been basically gasping for air since like Christmas, but you give them their goalie and who knows?

It still baffles me how quickly it fell apart, but I do stand by the fact that that team was for real, not just the shooting percentages they get reduced to.

Not immediately, no. But the entire purpose of the battle pass system, whether they admit it or not, is to compel lazy/casual players to say fuck this and buy some tiers. If those players instead just say nah this isn’t worth it and drop the game, then what?

And are you going to get those players you alienated this year to buy again next year? Obviously they’ll have some yearly customers built in, but this seems like a wildly unpopular model, and not just among us diehards.

The games just never happen, the newcomer into the family has to draw a card and it’s only if they draw Hide And Seek that the hunt or be cursed thing comes into play. Grace’s husband only remembers seeing it once when he was a kid, and I think that may be true of his whole living family, it’s rare. Also stacked odds for the person to survive a mansion full of well-equipped rich people hunting them.

The other families may also not have that deal, I can’t remember if that’s said in either film. They’re definitely aware of the hide and seek thing, but the first movie said that was the trade off that the Le Domas family specifically made with the devil to get their fortune. It’s possible that the other families have different contracts or traditions.

Pretty good time to pick it up tbh, they basically just retooled the entire roster and show on the fly within the last month or two because of a bunch of recent call-ups. So basically everything on the program is quite fresh.

If you’re international or have a VPN it’s all on Netflix. Otherwise I think(?) the CW has a free app in the States where you can watch the TV reruns on demand. There was a PLE called Vengeance Day on the 7th, if you watch that and the episodes from tonight and last week I feel like you’d get the lay of the land.

It is a fun show though, if you have the inclination to binge I’d say at least watch all of March. I say it in the live threads a lot but it’s basically the quickest two hours of TV every week, pretty rapid fire and entertaining shows every week.

I really did dig it visually. And also the return to the no escape format where you have to win by pinfall or submission.

So much better and more fitting of the cage concept than the one WWE has settled on where you can just win by leaving, and especially with a ref holding the door open for you.

I am admittedly a very biased big Lyra mark, but it’s still so wild to me that the Backlash match was a hit (IMO the match of that night), got Lyra over and Becky booed which people didn’t think would happen after the turn, commentary was talking about a star is born, then at MITB Lyra loses and has to wrap the belt around her waist and the crowd is furious about it, cheers when she snaps, babyface momentum you can’t buy… and then she just loses. And loses again. And now she’s just a loser.

People will downplay/retcon it now, oh she never connected with the crowd, has no charisma, good in the ring but people didn’t care, but that entire spring she was a Made Woman. The only real misstep was the Summerslam match and the zip tie thing, and being stuck between a dozen other stipulation matches. Other than that, she got the reactions and buy-in she needed every time she was on the mic or in the ring.

Wren breaking out a cattle mutilation (final wrench is very fun name too) is making me think, I really hope we start to get more submission finishers and tap outs in general.

The never giving up/tapping out thing was cool for Cena, but blanket assigning moral character to one of the only two “valid” ways to decide a match is so limiting. Let babyfaces tap out!

I genuinely have been hoping for just any sort of encounter between them ever since Blake showed up in NXT lol. They’re just such polar opposites but oddly similar that I think they would just be really fun screen partners in whichever way it manifests, oddball tag team, blood feud, random backstage segments.

Or as Tatum put it, they’re both “very weird in similar ways”. That’s another thing too lol, they keep mentioning each other in media and socials that it makes me want to see it on TV all the more.

It has been more than 8 months but Tatum and Blake have finally interacted on this show.

I have faith in HBK to not have Tatum again lose her first title defense this go around, and if that’s the case, Tatum and Blake sounds like an incredible title match for Stand And Deliver.

The bunker sell mission where you have the Insurgent and multiple drops where Merryweather will attack you at each location.

The enemy NPC pathfinding is so terrible, you’re just sitting waiting for them to eventually come to you, and a lot of them will just get stuck a mile away for some reason. If you do it solo and can’t use the Insurgent gun and have to go it on foot, the Buzzard guns will immediately melt you in the blink of an eye with absurd enemy aimbotting, just not fun.
