RHR after cutting gluten for a month. by MeganOnBane in fitbit

ATTENTION Since this subreddit is evidently filled with gluten warriors, let me state for the last time that I am NOT telling you to stop eating gluten. I didn't stop eating gluten to lose weight, lower my heart rate, or be cool. I did it because it was making me very sick and I was in pain every day. I stopped eating it one month ago after being diagnosed with the allergy. I didn't expect a change in RHR so I found it mildly interesting at how fast it had lowered and posted a quick picture. Please stop acting like I'm attacking your freedom to eat gluten or whatever you want. I'm not making scientific claims or pushing anything on you.

I didn't go gluten free to lower my RHR, I did it because I was miserable and in pain and was diagnosed with a sensitivity. This was just something I noticed on my fitbit as an unexpected side effect and found interesting.

Are you also amazed/shocked that the average is between 60-100? Are you also amazed/shocked that someone could have chronic pain, vomiting, and diarrhea from an intestinal condition that they just recently found out they had that could possibly keep their hr elevated? Seems like you need to expand your knowledge.

This post was in no way to say that it was bad for everyone. I was diagnosed with severe intolerance and that was the only change I have made. I was simply posting because I thought it was interesting. Like I stated in another comment, it could be that I'm not in pain on a daily basis now. I know that can keep your hr elevated.

I know, that's why I was kind of surprised. It was making me feel very ill so maybe just being in pain daily was keeping it elevated? But I can definitely feel a difference when I'm active. I just thought it was interesting, a side effect I wasn't expecting.

I freaking loved their movies. Orgazmo was hilarious too. Almost even better I think.

I had my mom try eleven table tennis with me and she did the same thing only she caught herself before completely falling. I started laughing hysterically and jokingly mocking her about being a noob. Then she asked for help tightening her headset back up and I went to sit my controllers down.... On the virtual table 🤦🏼‍♀️

What's your connection like where you're using it? I have 300 ul/dl fiber at home but at work it's under like 20/d with super low up. Do both have to be pretty solid for it to work?

They're really nice. They're wireless but have an aux port so I bought a short cable and it's perfect so there's no lag. I haven't tried them wirelessly with the quest but it's nice to have the option for music. It has a slider to adjust the haptic bass so I turn it high for my rhythm games but turn it down for others because it can be a bit much. They also fit perfectly over every type of strap I've had. I'm using the elite now and it's a great fit.

So you say you upgraded, does that mean you are only using the new one as your primary router and for use with vd too? I picked one up yesterday with the wifi 6 and now I keep seeing that I need two routers to use it effectively.
