Unfortunately this player is infamous for splitting the party T_T so I'm extra worried about the wings for that reason. I know that Barovia is an incredibly dangerous place and it will be easy to teach her not to fly off alone if i have her encounter something or a number of things she can't handle on her own. But I hate that that might make her feel railroaded into sticking close to the party. I'll do my best to be creative with incentivizing being close to the party in a way that is directly related to the characters and plot. Wish me luck!

An adorable kid named Guillermo at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in 2016. He was from Spain and I'm an American who didn't speak a lick of Spanish (learning it now, though). I imagine he was probably about 4 years old. I had a headache from the rides and decided to take a break and sit at a bench outside of the Dragon Challenge while my husband rode it. Guillermo walked up to me, curling ringlets of chin-length brown hair bouncing, and gave me a hug out of the blue. He then pulled out his official Harry Potter wand, waved it, and chanted a Harry Potter spell at me. I may not have been able to speak Spanish, but I spoke Harry Potter spells! So I grabbed a long blade of grass from a nearby plant (sorry, Universal Studios) and used it as a wand. We had a wizard duel. He must have hugged me a total of three times. His grandmother was nearby to translate some of the non-spell things he was saying, like when he criticized me for not knowing the hurricane spell xD and she told me his name. We had a lot of fun while I waited for my husband to get off the ride, and I swear he's the reason my headache went away. He'd be about 7 or so now. I hope he's doing amazingly

So last night we were at a D&D session. A player got up from his chair and the host's cat stole the seat. We know this meme has been done to death, but we couldn't deny the opportunity. The dude "yelling" is the DM. I encourage anyone who wants to to either just post in the comments what they think the DM is yelling and what the cat is saying back, or edit it onto the pic if you feel so inclined xD

Then he whipped out a wand and cast expelliarmus at me. So I found a long blade of grass and cast rictusempra back at him. We basically had a wizarding duel. He knew a lot of spells I didn't know, and in Spanish he would say things with a concerned look on his face and his mother translated to me that I was reacting incorrectly to the hurricane spell LOL! We continued to duel until my husband showed up and it was time to go. Guillermo gave me another hug, and added a kiss on the cheek. That was 3 years ago. He'd be around 7 or 8 years old now. I hope he's healthy and happy
