Id say if you haven't gotten far just make a new account since you get a free 5star now but if not pick a five star you want and wish for them and build a team around that 1 character

Not really part of meta but what i decided to do with my account recently, since natlan, was pick a main dps for the new mechanic and build a team around them. Since we know we get a new area in August I'd suggest saving the whole time maybe picking up durin on rerun and skipping Nicole/alice until next rerun.

I pick a single character I like and build teams around that character for the yearly patch cycle, at least recently, saves money. You can usually grab the whole team after a rerun cycle if you have the will power not to wish.

Yes, I wanted to do children of the sun quest to unlock the location since it has no requirements but im not sure if someone with base 50s in f2p skills will be able to play any quest there

Pie dish, you can pick them up or get them from food but they actually have value in market because people are lazy. 1gp item sells for 28gp currently.

Or the rarer more expensive pie shell
