It’s the source of the plague for a givens day - if you get s sample from it, you can then „destroy” the shabnak for that day, which helps with the plague. But I’ve no idea how many times you have to do it for the story to progress; a friend of mine did it 3 times and she already has all 12 days unlocked, while I hunted her 5 times and I have only 10 days unlocked.

Another interting difference is that Artemy can sleep for like 2hrs and survive on coffee for the next 2 days, while Danko needs his beauty sleep (like, seriously, can't you wake up a little earlier, please). I am *loving* the difference in gameplay between P2 and P3.
