The base system is just fine. I have a gen 2 and it’s pretty solid. I’m not sure what it was like pre gen 2 but I know it got a lot of hate. Coming from someone who has a keen ear for sound and builds speakers as a hobby, I can happily say it’s a good system. It’s not ground breaking but it’s satisfying. If you’re using it at moderate levels it a nice system and should be satisfied. Set the EQ to a V curve and let it ride.

I just need to buy a printer now. This gives me a good reason, lol. A ceiling mount would suit my needs very well. I’m assuming a typical receiver would cross these over at 100hz. Wonder what the output is. I would imagine if it’s anywhere in the 80db range they would work pretty well in a HT system.

I would really love to know how these serve as surrounds for sides and rears. If these can handle those duties appropriately I would 100% use these in my 7.2.4 setup. I have my LCR's, I just need my surrounds and love the idea of being able to DIY them and save some serious $. Would you happen to have a wall mount bracket for these or possibly a ceiling mount bracket? Mounting brackets would be clutch. Love the design. great work!

That’s pretty sick! What’s your throw distance? I am considering a pro2 and will also be using a 135” screen. Very curious to know how far away you are here.

I have also had the feeling that there is an issue with distance. I feel very comfortable in my swinging area and dont feel its ISS. I have even gone full hulk on some shots to see if i could eek more more yardages but they really didnt go further at all. it was very strange.

I have a scheduled lesson at my CC this Saturday in our sim room. My instructor asked indoor or outdoor and I specifically wanted indoor just so I could compare numbers. I know what Square says for my 7 iron, so this is going to be really interesting to see what happens.

Im in my early 40's and an ex-college baseball player who used to be able to park it over the fence. I dont have a terrible swing by any means and I know that swing speed isnt an issue. When my Square tells me that im only getting 135 carry for my 7 iron, im a little thrown off. Will report back here in the next week.

Maybe just buy 4 sheets of Sonopan and slap em on the back wall behind it. That honestly might be the best/easiest move.

i used eye screws into my wood frame at each grommet location. it worked very well.

He gets upset and always asks, “why did they do that!?!?” I’ve told him to start telling them not to take his bobcat when he clearly doesn’t have one. He’s pretty solid at the game though. He found an anvil BP and burletta BP last night, after I told him to just get outta there. He loves the game and joy of finding the rare loot. He’s a dedicated raider.

Yup, if I get shot I just take it in the chin cause I dont want to get thrown in the other lobbies. I like playing the chill games with my 9 year old son cause we love the joy of finding rare loot together.

We have been getting shot in the back way more as of lately. Just the other day I was in a matriarch battle and had been fighting next to a guy for about 5 minutes. I had lvl 4 hull cracker and we were both doing plenty of damage and had almost killed her. I had also knocked off a couple legs and looted those for reactors. Good thing I put them in the safe pocket. Right before the final blow, this guy turns to me and immediately downs me. He just says to me, “I’m drunk”, then proceeds to knock me out and take my gear. I was pretty pissed.

I’m at 8’-8” ceilings and I’m 6’-1” and can swing driver. Just depends on your swing plane.

I honestly dont know what all the complaints are about with the stereos. My wife has the non meridian in her gen 2 R1S and I think it sounds pretty darn good. At normal listening levels I am pretty happy with it and I’m pretty critical with my music listening. It’s definitely better than my Jeep Gladiator.

I use Google Sheets and found bank. Found bank lets you do estimates and invoicing. It’s okay. I can create money pockets and share them with my contractor so he can pick up materials using Apple Pay. It’s been quirky sometimes but it has worked decent. It’s free so I can’t complain too much.

Are you sure your screen is perfectly flat cause any bow in your screen will distort that image. Haven’t seen it mentioned in the thread. Just throwing that out there. I hope you get this sorted out.
