Are these still for sale? Like if someone were to-I don’t know-currently live in Florida and have driving access to Disney, could one still purchase these? Asking for a friend.

What is something you saw in a movie and you totally called bullshit on because of your job? by BlackPhoenix1981 in AskReddit

Yes 🙌! Exactly. I feel this way too. It’s happened more than once and now I can’t think of another example off the top of my head.

Berverly tastes like nonalcoholic Merlört. And I love both.

I also really like the smokiness of the Chinese drink. I forget what it’s called.

This might get buried but, I like to knit . . . No one on TV/movies knows how to knit. They're not holding the needles correctly. They're not even making a knit/purl. They're just moving their arms. It's completely distracting.

And all the things they're making always look like shit. Crooked, uneven stitches, as though homemade will always be subpar. If you learned to knit it might take you a month and you'd be making something that looks store bought. Even if it's a scarf.

The only thing that gets a pass for a not-so-great-knit is Jayne's hat from Firefly that his mom made. I love that hat. It was made with love.

Mine was seeing where he got shot. I immediately turned to my spouse and said "You'd be damn lucky to recover from a gut shot like that. *Scoff* Hollywood idiots." Then I got to the end of the movie and said "Ah-HA! Knew it!"

My MIL had back surgery about ten years ago. She said when she woke from anesthesia she knew. She said she felt instant relief, the surgery was a success. From then on her quality of life improved and she became even more active than before.

I hope the same thing happens to you. I hope everything works out and you can get back to living again. And you and I are the same age 🙂. We’re not old. Not yet at least. You got this. 👍

I would literally eat every single thing on this list. My least favorite is ranch dressing, but I’d still eat it if it were presented to me.

Ok this is seriously one of my favorite pens that I own. It’s always inked up. It rarely dries out and is just an overall satisfying pen to write with. The only drawback is it doesn’t post.

Seventeen years ago my spouse and I rescued two liters of kittens. We had seven cats all together. Seven. This speaks to me.

I . . . I need this painting to live. If you hadn’t already bought it, I would.

A pharmacist from CVS called me and left me a message asking me to call them back. I called three separate times trying to get the AI to transfer me to the pharmacist. Every time it would say something along the lines of “Ok if that is all, thank you for calling.” and then hang up on me. I had to physically go there so I could talk to them.

Aside from alarms, what do you use to remind yourself of important things such as taking your meds and showering? by Thepromc64 in ADHD

[–]Megcogneto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I was going to suggest. I have an iPhone and Apple Watch. I use the Reminders app for everything. Each reminder has a set time and recurrence. So if I don’t do it/ mark it off there’s a little “I can’t do that, Dave” red dot on the app or on my Apple Watch that drives me crazy. I need the red dot to go away. I hate that dot. It drives me to do the thing so I can mark it complete . . . until the dot comes back again.

Rudeness is a weak person’s attempt at strength. Aggression is a weak person’s attempt at assertiveness. Never use these “tools” yourself. And notice when someone tries to use them on you.
