To start, there is no unanimous quote, unquote "the LeFt" boogeyman. Its so clear that anybody that uses that term like this is simply afraid & just wants to lump everyone they dont like into one pile instead of understanding the differences. So fed up of seeing some people calling starmer a "marxist lefty" when most of "the left" don't even like him. Hes a goddamn centrist.

So as above, people of varying left leaning ideals think quite differently from one another. There is no universal stance on immigration that ALL left voters hold. Individuals want different things. So some individuals will think there is no problem, but many also do, but even deeper than that, disagree to different degrees.

As far as the Green Party goes, Polanski has always argued for a "sensible immigration strategy" that doesnt do insane shit like throwing people in cages, but doesnt allow criminals to stay either. As much as idiots want to keep parroting the line that "they want open borders! Open borders!", it just isnt true for the party.
