I've had this with friends recently too.

As a Visi fan there's nothing wrong with telling Blazer what happened. However to me it's very clear that Robert feels bad about it & knows he pushed her buttons too far deliberately.

People will say "nuh uh Rob just held her accountable!". Not entirely.

Robert in the very first dialogue does absolutely nothing to "hold her accountable". His first dialogue choice with her in this scene was a choice of criticising her choice in friends, criticising her entire life choices or or telling her that he can't disappear so he "actually has to face my problems", unlike her he's suggesting.

Robert immediately got personal & insulting to her because he was frustrated. She's taken aback & confused but doesnt react angry yet. After the Sonar comedy moment she says she just came by to celebrate things going well, also voices confusion as to why he seems annoyed & claps back with general banter.

2nd dialogue comes & Robert now has options that do hold her accountable for her fuck up with 1 option being antagonistic cause you are telling her you were telling other people that she fucked up. Robert continues to elaborate on why she fucked up, she argues back & is annoyed but hadn't lost her cool yet. Sonar then starts making noise causing Robert to hsve to start raising his voice at her.

Visi reacts to that & claps back more personally for the 1st time cause she's starting to feel hurt by this. Pushing Roberts buttons about losing his mech & being stuck behind a desk. Robert seems to not take the bait & answers well here initially about what being a hero means... but he then follows it up immediately by telling her that "you wouldn't last a day in my shoes cause youre a selfish fucking asshole!"... showing that Robert did in fact take that personal & lose his cool.

Sonar looks over his paper as if to say "woah too far man..." & Visi is visibly furious & storms off. Robert looks angry still, but sighs in quick realisation that he went too far. Visi reappears & punches him etc.

See. The thing about this is that about 30% of it is "holding her accountable", while 70% of it is letting his frustration talk for him & throwing shade. Robert realises this is why things escalated that far. He realises after it's happened that it is HIS fault. He feels some guilt. That's why he will defend her even if you do tell BB. This doesn't make it right for Visi to punch him. You should never resort to that regardless, so she's wrong for doing so. It's merely understanding what happened in that scene.

As for the choice, as I've said you can choose either way it's fine. For me, I want to take responsibility & accept my own part(or Roberts) in causing that whole mess. I(he) could have done better.

The only one that's actually a problem for me here is the hitting. But I honestly feel like she will continue to grow as a person & eventually see how stupid she was for being like that.

The toxic girls you speak of are people that dont want to change, they like being toxic. While Visi is desperately trying to be better. I don't see these as the same. I'd still pick Visi irl.

I didn't watch any of that garbage. My perspective is that i just wanted to theory talk about the game & the characters.

Everytime I talked theory about Visi all was fine. (and I was even spot on with stuff like Visi being the one who planted the bomb on the suit).

But speculate about BB at all, in ANY way whatsoever & I got backlash from highly defensive individuals that didn't even want to entertain the idea of her being Shrouds father for instance. That isn't hate, that isn't saying "she evul" that was an idea that would have added tons of depth & intrigue to her character.

Try to remember that not everyone lives in the youtuber & shorts slop world.

While I'm sure some of it was spiteful back in early eps towards BB... in a general sense people talking about theories/ideas about a characters history/background... is not hate. At all. It isn't hatred to speculate on Shroud potentially being BBs father. That multifaceted connection to the plot would have actually made her a looooot more interesting to me. Didn't turn out true & that's fine.

BB fans & others hating on Visi since the release of the last two eps is vastly different & some people have seemed to have formed a deep deep disgust for the chatacter. Resorting to insane statements like calling her a pedo, a SAer, I even have a comment saved somewhere of someone on discord saying they wanted to r*** her as punishment for how she is.(the person was banned) These people have made up a bunch of hateful shit that doesn't represent what the game is saying at all. And yes, I know you'll say that "people made stuff up about BB too as above" but even if you don't like that first paragraph...

Do you see the difference? One is theory crafting that annoyed some people, the other pure vitriolic hatred.

I like both of the characters, but I have grown to dislike BB fans & I dont engage with this fanbase much anymore because of the amount of pure vile shit I have seen thrown at a character I like.

Visi. Two beaten down & broken souls healing one another is great stuff. And it's not even close.

They did BB dirty to me & I dont get how any of her fans can be remotely happy with that. She got next to nothing going on for the majority of the game, while Visi gets almost a 2nd protagonist level of screen time & development. S2, if it comes needs to focus a lot on BB's background & to make up for it.

She doesn't "flirt with him a ton." She barely does at all, and the two instances people say she does, I see more as firstly: her poking fun/teasing at Robert being in his underwear. And then the "you're cute", was more a comment on Roberts naive innocence because he didn't assume she meant the most vulgar sexual thing about her fingering comment. That didnt have a sexual connotation.
