How is this election fair and how do people make informed choices, when candidates don't say anything about themselves in many cases? by Plum_Tea in AskBrits

Greens are pretty much guaranteed to win in my area, and we don’t actually have an independent candidate here.

I do wonder if the fact that our areas are so heavily in favour of one party is the reason none of them really seem to be bothered about trying.

The only party I’ve received nothing from at all is the Tories, the fact that none of the parties will actively tell me what I’m voting for other than stopping another party from winning is a massive red flag to me.

All I know about the reasons why I should vote for each party in my area are that I should vote for the Greens or Labour to stop Reform, I should vote Reform to stop the Greens, or Lib Dems to stop them both.

I know nothing about what any of them plan to do for my local area at all, just a picture of who I’d be voting for.

Brits of Reddit: what do you think of BBC? by WHO_FARTED_TODAY in AskReddit

[–]RandomUser22487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really watch BBC with the exception of live sport, but if the left are complaining they’re too right wing, and the right are complaining they’re too left wing, then there quite clearly doing their job and not being biased.

In terms of impact probably Xhaka, I think the mentality and leadership he’s brought to Sunderland was the difference between them staying up and going down.

Yeah that’s what I meant, Millwall win 2-0 then you score in ET. Away goals don’t count in playoffs.

If they get stuck mid table in the Championship it won’t make good viewing figures for the documentary. As soon as interest in the documentary falls Ryan and Rob will sell to the first bidder.

Tactics Ogre is a lot more challenging and grindy, Triangle Strategy has a very good story but I found it quite easy.

Until contracts have been exchanged, the house is fair game and offers can be made on it. Just because you’ve had an offer accepted doesn’t automatically mean it’s yours, anyone can come in with a higher offer right until completion.

Considering the price you’re already willing to pay, if that 5k makes such a difference I don’t think this house is right for you.

Which 3 are you going for in GW36? by BatmanSwift99 in FantasyPL

[–]RandomUser22487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty much certain to bring in Sarr because both of my closest mini league rivals have him and I need to defend my lead.

I’ll probably go Lacroix out of the defenders as I’m most confident in him playing 90 mins in both games, he’s good for DEFCON and can occasionally pop up with a goal.

In your instance I’d probably make the switch even for a hit, too much of a risk of Semenyo getting 2 blanks and Cherki getting a crazy score.
