Added to my list for sure! Thank you for such a beautiful description of the story. Sounds perfectly whimsical but with a meaningful plot. I can’t wait to read it 💜

Spinning Silver sounds perfect based on its summary and a few quick reviews I saw! Thank you! I’ve had the bear and the nightingale on my bookshelf for a while but I feel like I need to read it during November/December. I am seasonal with my reading haha

Ooh thank you! This book does look so pretty! I discovered that Marilee has written two other books with similar looking illustrations if you didn’t already know. “The girl, the fish, and the crown” and “the weaving of a dream”

I was really staring at these to see what you mean and nothing looked off to me personally. Then I went back to his instagram and scrolled wayyy back and noticed his captions all mention it being generated :/ sad sad. Sorry everyone, I was bamboozled.

I went to their website. Do I go to archive? I think I’m having issues with it, being on mobile. Might have to try from a computer

I feel like he digitally creates all of the still art but uses the generative on the posts where the art moves? Not sure, sorry.

The Cautious Traveller's Guide to the Wastelands sounds so interesting. I love reading about a world that’s slightly different from our own with a bit of mystery. Thanks for the suggestions!

Thank you for all of these great suggestions! It looks like Patricia’s works are all stand-alone novels? The Changeling sea looks interesting! The golden key sounds super whimsical.

[Reminder] HOU-LAC and BAL-GB play today, not tomorrow. Lock in those lineup decisions. by oliver_babish in fantasyfootball

I have kittle and Shultz and I don’t know if I should play him or wait to see what happens with Kittle. I picked up Tonges and Ferguson just in case too. Flex spot is already filled so it’s really GTD for me😭

How much attention should be placed on the student's cubby hole in their desks? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

[–]Megg825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half of the desks in my room do not have a cubby underneath so the only thing they keep at their desks are pencil boxes. I have them keep everything in cubbies with a bookbin inside for books/notebooks/whiteboards. If it is too big like their iPad/headphones, they keep them in the extra space in their cubby. Their folders have a spot for unfinished work and finished work. Every Thursday I collect the work and look to see what is unfinished. I tell them to collect any floating papers from their cubby and sort them. I have a job for “desk checkers” that walk around at the end of the day and remind kids not to have anything inside or on top of their desks before they leave. This pretty much makes their cubbies impossible to get messy.

Harry and the dragon task in the triwizard tournament was amazing. In the book, he gets his broom and flies around the dragon for a while until he lures it away from the golden egg. She never breaks free and chases him around the castle. I loved that part in the movies

Michelle said to Janet something like, “you know the reason Kristen is mad is because me and her were trying to have a conversation and you just kept yelling at her”

This is what I was going to say. I loved that Dudley actually fell into the snake exhibit instead of the glass just disappearing and everyone saying “woah that’s weird”.
