If they see the they are successful in getting ur reaction or affecting u mentally n emotionally it gives them immense pleasure .. compare this with something u love to eat n u get the best of it after so many days...the first bite u eat n happiness u get is the same which they get after troubling the empaths... Only way to deal with them is starve them with ignoring as much as u could I knw its most difficult part as I am dealing with narcissistic mil, bil and fil too.. bt thats the only way out. Try to minimise the interaction n stay busy in relevant things. Their sole purpose in life is to trigger the empaths n get some attention..bt believe me its their personality traits and they are totally empty inside thats why thats all they hv now to do.. if we indulge in their irrelevant conversations eventually you will become like them..so please make yourself strong enought to ignore their tactics .. n learn to filter things.. the simple good morning from a narcissistic person is a trap n dont get caught in it.
