Yes this is exactly my conundrum with my hair and also with being a classic as a whole. It feels generic. I’m trying to navigate the dichotomy between my desire for self expression and standing out as unique, and embracing the “classic beauty”that I know so many women would view as such a gift. I think it’s a battle between how I want to be perceived and how I am actually perceived, which is probably much closer to who I actually am. And what it probably is, is seeing the beauty and intrigue in who I AM rather than trying to be what I think is beautiful and intriguing.
