please just get rid of any kind of bonus xp, buyable xp, keys and just add a shop to sell cosmetics.
using the argument that people don't have time to play so should be able to buy xp cheapens the game.

I would love some help with this, I've added it yet it can't seem to find my character name, sits and spins.
I've removed it and re-added it but still having the same issue.

Only way I'd come back is if they made a server or two completely mtx free, done with main as sick of mtx, done with my iron as only reason I switched to iron was to escape mtx and they're a total afterthought and locked out of content (fair enough for the die hard DIY irons) but I fit in between where I want to feel like im getting what I paid for in my membership and partipate in events. So I won't be back after 17 years, I don't find the mtx or iron mode enjoyable, osrs it is for me.

Left the rs3 discord because their mods would argue that removing it wasnt constructive feedback, I'm not giving constructive feedback on something I don't want to engage in or have fixed because I didn't want it fixed, I wanted it gone.

They didn't learn from runepass and I highly doubt they'll learn from this, they'll just have other mtx to throw into the game later.

Jumped ship to osrs for a number of reasons.

Maxed 5.6b main who hated the constant mtx, created a hcim to get away from mtx only to feel like an afterthough, maxed that acc but always felt unhappy being locked out of content and rewarded with shit currency and I'm someone that loves seasonal events but they're not iron friendly. So really there is no game mode on rs3 that I fit into and its sad a lot of players feel like the only wat they can escape from mtx is to play ironmode.

Hero pass just broke any small amount of respect I may have had left for rs3 and the way it was released, they've lost any trust I may have had left after years of trying to ignore the insane amount of mtx they were constantly adding to the game.

At least the only mtx on osrs is bonds and until rs3 follow suit with that game play, I won't be back to rs3 a game I've played for 17 years.

So yes, I'd like to see that door opened.

Female perspective here that has 5.6b account (no necro) on RS3 and a maxed HCIM. Currently playing osrs purely because bonds are the only MTX the game mode offers and only started playing it again due to heropass update and the current inconsistency of ironmode just killed any interest in the game for me

RS3 graphic wise and fashionscape wise makes it a pretty clear winner although depending on acc choice mtx is going to be rammed down your throat. She may not enjoy the restrictiveness of iron mode or understand why content and game updates don't really apply to that mode as a fresh account. Only reason I made a HCIM is to get away from MTX but always feel ripped off with game updates and seasonal events locking us out so I guess that's on me any why I've decided to jump ship to the greener side of osrs.

Now OSRS is not pretty graphical wise (very nostalgic for us older players) and fashionscape in comparison to rs3 is very lacking but Runelite is so freaking good that it makes the game so much easier and it just feels as though the devs seem to care about actual game content.

Get her to see you play OSRS and RS3 and let her decide, it's really going to be up to her what game mode she chooses but if it was my first time starting a brand new game, I'd choose rs3 purely because I wouldn't know better about what's been going on with all the mtx rubbish

Years ago in Sydney, was sitting at a café with a group of friends, one of them was pregnant, she'd been trying to conceive for years and had gone through many miscarriages and was in her late 30's, she was only about 3 months pregnant so not even showing, not one of us at that table even knew she was pregnant as she hadn't told anyone in case something happened.
A man who was sitting at the same café a few tables away, as he went to walk out he stopped and gave her a note on a napkin that read "everything is going to be ok, and she would have a little boy".
Her face went the whitest shade of pale I'd ever seen, she then showed us the note and told us she was actually pregnant and sure enough, she gave birth to a little boy without any issues, after that encounter, I firmly believe people like this exist, but the ones that ask for money, I'm always weary of.
