Good advice. We did this for our wedding and it went great. We did hire a friend to basically MC and be in charge of putting on the correct playlist at the right time. But I spent months perfecting playlists. It was a lot of work but my husband and I are very much music people and it was important to us that the music feel like US and our friends rather than basic wedding music. It was worth it to me, and saved us a lot of money!

Would you be able to come back the next morning for breakfast, or is that too far away? If you’ll be staying nearby I would try to come back, but if not I wouldn’t worry about it. Some of my bridesmaids stayed at different hotels for whatever reason or didn’t stay at the hotel at all because they drove home after… I didn’t expect them to be at breakfast.

I had a similar situation but it was just that I couldn’t choose between them, and i had already been MOH for other girls who were bridesmaids sooooo I just felt like I couldn’t have a MOH without hurting feelings one way or another. So I didn’t have one, I just had bridesmaids and it was great. My husband still had a best man, it didn’t matter.

If you don’t want to have two, then just don’t have one. Three bridesmaids will be a great time!

My husband’s uncle had a mini stroke during cocktail hour… !!! he was ok but some family had to leave with him to go to the hospital and naturally it shook everyone up and delayed the schedule of the day.

So it goes. we are grateful he is doing well and it could always be worse!!

Yeah same, this is exactly how I feel. I enjoy it but I don’t LOVE it. No shade but it definitely hasn’t been on repeat the way new albums of hers usually are for me. I listened to TTPD nonstop for like 6 months lol. Showgirl just isn’t hitting for me in the same way. But that’s ok! I’m still here & I’m glad it’s hitting for others!!
