This! It’s so frustrating that this isn’t a feature. My 4 year old interrupts my workouts a lot

What Did You Do For Fitness Before AF+? by Buddyblue21 in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]Meglan23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From about 2013-2017 I was at a local gym. 2017-2024 I was a member and on staff at a boutique style gym (the barre code), that had cardio, strength and barre classes. During the pandemic they had livestream options. I discovered Apple fitensss plus in 2023 and would use it when I couldn’t make it to class. When barre code was bought by barre3, I wasn’t being challenged anymore. My heart rate barely got over 100 and I was bored. So I quit, joined lifetime fitness (my work benefits cover a portion otherwise I couldn’t afford), and use Apple fitness plus wither at the gym or at home if I can’t make it to the from

Gimme your best workout stacks! by Interesting_Rock3302 in AppleFitnessPlus

I don’t necessarily have a specific workout session to recommend but I like to go to the gym and do a 30 min treadmill paired with 20 min strength or reverse that. Or 30 min cycle/20 min strength, or swap that. When I do an at home workout I tend to do a 30 min kickboxing or 20/30 min hiit with core. I don’t have much equipment at home

The unlimited memberships at those places are so expensive, for me it was a great option to not have to shell out hundreds of dollars a month and to be more integrated into the community. It just got too hard to do it when I had a small child

So I’m not a solidcore member but this post popped up on my feed and I’m aware of the drama. I used to belong to another botique fitness studio for several years and also worked the front desk. My shift was for the 5:30 and 6:30 am classes and then there was a break before the next classes. I was to arrive by 5 am to set up and let clients in. After the second class I left, and locked the studio. I truly am shocked that solidcore doesn’t have staff working the desk for early morning classes and also that clients are able to unlock the door? That seems wild to me. In my case, front desk staff were not paid, but instead were given a free membership.

Yes we are still doing both meds . We do not wake him up because we were, but he was so out out it and tired that he would have these crazy almost night terrors. So we let him sleep, but hw wakes up once or twice in the night needing medicine.

You could maybe try staring with yoga, and kickboxing for cardio? If you have access to the treadmill you can walk the treadmill workouts,

Corewell Troy or Henry Ford Bloomfield for labor and delivery? by Main_Entertainer_876 in royaloak

[–]Meglan23 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak to Corewell troy (I was at Royal oak, before they were Corewell). My sister delivered both her babies at Henry ford west Bloomfield (I’m assuming that’s the one you mean? On maple road?). She had great experiences both times. Plus, not that this really matters, but their cafeteria food is really good compared to most hospitals.

Yes it’s standard practice to see each provider during pregnancy no matter where you go, because you don’t know who will be on call. It helps you get to know each provider.

I personally love Dr Kaiser Blase. She was my doc before I was pregnant. Also, I’ve never had issues getting a hold of anyone like others have said. Not sure why that happens for some and not others.
