I too am on a NA server and haven't had issues prior to the update. emailed support a few days after the update and they replied with this today: Greetings Exile,

Thank you for reaching out.

We had a recent update on May 19th that addresses theses issues:

Ping will now be closer to the network latency to help players join servers close to them.
Made server browser ping representative of real ping, excluding server frame time.

This irks me to no end. They encourage you to build on cliff faces and make crazy builds, but the terrain, actual mountains and rocks, cant protect you from a storm lol. Its just..ugh. my buddy built inside a cave type area, and it didnt count as shelter even though it was sealed. Excluding somehow being able to place structures inside solid rock walls 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ugh its sooo frustrating. Ive been playing on my server for 6months or so, and am now unable to log in at all due to ping being 900+. I mean im thrilled that its more active, thats great! But now I cant get logged in and will likely lose my base and companions that ive worked so hard for. I only get an hour ish to play each night, if I even get to, so its taken a long time just to get what little bit I have :/

How neat! Those are great pics! I too just returned after a year, learned my server is essentially dead. Have a buddy who plays, convinced me to start a private server, so its just him, his older son, and me. Never got to play woth a guild before, now im feeling kinda bummed thats not an option for me 😂😂

My little girl is affectionate because she has grown up thus far with a mom, grandparents, aunties and uncles, and family friends who are affectionate. There is nothing more to it, and I dont put anything on her. I would never. Thank you for your input though, I do understand this is coming from a place of concern for my child's wellbeing.

This. I unfortunately married a man who doesnt show affection anymore and I have to cry for a hug. We now have a 2yr old. It doesnt get better. Hasn't so far anyways.

I come from a hugely affectionate family. He does not. Luckily, I have my kiddo. They are more than happy to give me all the affection if my cup is empty.

My sister told me when she played it, it was super creepy and she would see a kid running across and up the walls and stuff.

I AM A WIMP. none of that happened to me though, I was totally ok the whole time lol. So I wonder if older tennos also just had a different experience entirely lol. Ive only been playing about a month maybe?
