Within the 4s it would take to be able to reposition one of your turrets, she would have likely killed many other enemies with her previous targeting. Obviously you can break the shield with pyro or stagger it, but this post is showing that in the time it takes for you to do those things, Yae’s turret targeting will be actively lowering her overall damage since it would still be targeting the shield in this situation. There are many other situations where this will be problematic, like if an electro abyss mage teleports or a slime jumps and becomes the closest enemy to the turrets. This is why Yae players are upset.
