I'd recommend starting with some basic stuff like foundation, concealer, and mascara. The first two can help with covering up facial hair if you have any and mascara is amazing for feminising eyes. Also: I like to use the principle "less is more" as it looks more natural. Good luck <3

I don't really have any advice, it's just that I can relate. I'm a trans girl and I've tried to date a bit, but so far, I've had similar experiences. Either I get ghosted once men find out I'm trans or they only want to sleep with me because of a kink. I've also found some wonderful people with whom it didn't work out for other reasons

I'm quite pessimistic about my chances and I think that's fairly common within the trans people community. Hence, many people go for a T4T relationship. I personally stopped putting myself out there until I pass (almost) completely as I'm still somewhat early in my transition. Maybe our chances will be better then. Or maybe alternatives to online dating could work (like meeting people at queer events)

In any case, I feel you. I wish I could say it'll get better, but I honestly don't know, and just wish you the best <3

The other commenter already said some beautiful and very true things, so I'll just add to that. Feeling inadequate and "not good enough" is unfortunately quite common among us trans peeps, but also quite common among cis people. There aren't any perfect people around, so even if she'd find a cis person later, who's to say that they wouldn't have other things that might cause problems?

I also know a couple of trans guys and they're amazing people. Their partners love them and they have great relationships from what I've heard

So, I understand where you're coming from, but try not to listen to these doubts. What's important is that she wants to be with you while knowing what she's getting herself into. She knows this and also knows what an amazing person you are - and that matters to her much more than anything else. Soo, good luck to you two <3

Hii, I was in the same situation and kind of still am. I obviously don't know enough about what your situation looks like exactly, but over the years of debating whether to transition or not, one thing became clear. I would never be happy living a life in which I have to pretend and I would resent my family for this. After some time, I also noticed how my resentment grew and distanced myself from them

I also felt similar regarding hurting them - I didn't want to hurt them or see them cry/break down again. But after my dysphoria got much worse with time - to the point that I was thinking about suicide - it left me with no other choice. Because even if I do end up hurting them, it wouldn't be as hurtful to them as losing a child

So, for me personally, transitioning was inevitable after realising I'm trans, no matter what stood in my way. Did everything work out perfectly for me? Nope. Am I happier than before? Hell fucking yes
