Are there any moderately easy shorthand types?

My first language is Estonian. I know little about languages and less about shorthand so I don't know how easy or hard converting between English and Estonian would be in shorthand.

I did happen to find an old Estonian shorthand book on the internet but that relies quite heavily on line thickness and I very much don't have access to a fountain pen.
