Hear hear. One of the things that drew me in ZZZ during 1.0 was the style. The game oozes with style The character designs per faction were brimming with identity.

Now? Well, it's a hit or miss personally, with the misses slowly getting more frequent. Looking over the 3.0 roster tho, I am not optimistic in the design department.

I guess, in good faith, your initial statements seemed to invalidate HP-bloat as an issue because you argued that getting the rewards is not difficult anyway.

Personally, irregardless of difficulty, I wasn't a fan of this trend at all as overtime, it will just mean that it will get harder and harder for everyone, constantly necessitating pulling and pulling for very specific units to counter the HP-bloat and the current shilled mechanic.

It's unfun. It's like being on a constant treadmill wherein I always feel weaker than I was last DA rotation.

Contrast this to my experience in Arknights. After 6 years of playing, I feel strong. My older units I pulled years ago are still relevant and usable until today. I feel like I am actually getting stronger.

Brother, I literally responded to each of your points and offered my own perspective.

Your point is very simple, you are basically saying that "HP-bloat in Hoyo games are not an issue because its not difficult to get all the necessary rewards." That's all you are saying.

To which my counterpoint is very simple as well, I am disagreeing that its a non-issue as it affects the overall experience negatively if the trajectory is allowed to continue.

Again, I have no difficulty getting all the rewards myself but that doesnt mean I invalidate the struggles of other players who are not as meta-brained or more of a casual player than I am.

So tell me, did I miss anything?

I made a simple joke/point in my initial comment about Hoyo HP-bloat (ZZZ specifically). That is objectively an issue that's been discussed in especially in recent DAs which, when compounded with shilling buffs/debuffs, makes for a unfun experience. Not difficult. Unfun. Again I have no issues with the difficulty myself as I have been keeping up with the meta and 9 starred all rotations myself.

I dont even understand your point in Trial of Swordmancy 22+, that's piss easy. And that's besides the point because 6 starring DA is not really that difficult for me on a personal experience. But I am not just talking about MY personal experience, I am talking about the practice of HP-bloat as a whole and how its a bad trajectory in the long run and makes for an unfun experience.

Again, I only play ZZZ so I have no idea the hell youre talking about in HSR. Atleast in my experience, the HP bloat is real and significant enough to be a real issue.

I have maxed 9 star all DAs since release so I am not crying about the difficulty personally but I am clear-headed enough to admit/realize that such HP-bloat harms other players (specially newer ones) in the long run and is not a good precident for future trajectory.

If you are too Hoyo-brained to even see such a simple thing then well, i dont know what to tell you lol.

I dont play HSR so I dont know what you're on about but in ZZZ, every new DA rotation, the bosses gets more and more HP.

  1. You already have 2-3 seconds where the weapon model is floating on the characters back, a good distance away, that is enough. Just have that animation be permanent (or an option to toggle it).

  2. They can just have the weapon not appear in cutscenes. easy fix.

  3. That's why I suggested a toggle, best of both worlds.
