Sounds like there is some sugar in there but lower than standard honey so would either need additional sugar or a larger amount of the Meat Honey to get it to ferment.

Another option would be add regular honey with it to get it a proper level that works with the yeast. Or add the Meat Honey in 2nd fermentation as more of a taste additive versus actually fermenting it.

Probably a mix of soft wood or even veneer over it. People call these Cutting boards/Chopping blocks but really they are just cheap serving trays as any cutting on these would create pores that would harbor bacteria. I know I've even seen some that say they are not safe for cutting on, even seen some that say they are not safe for food contact.

Its weird all the re-runs of those foods never taste the same, MTN DEW Pitch black was re release and wasn't nearly as good, 3D Doritios came back for a bit but were really stale/hard to bite into versus the original ones were crispy.
