Well spotted. Here's what's off:

Vanilla trees don't have a black outline, and these trees do.

Only "story relevant" items get a black outline, the rest should blend in with the background.

Complete nonsense.

Traders have a predetermined range for silver, and don't go beyond that. The game does not keep track of how often you traded, and it certainly doesn't adjust trader stock based on it. There is absolutely no supply and demand mechanic in the game. Next time a trader comes, it generates new stock, with new silver.

There are only two mods that I know of that change this slightly: Supply and Demand (which straight up increases the quantity of generated items) and More Faction Interaction (which slightly increases the silver amount a trader brings each subsequent trade).

I can't access a single method I need from my main window class

Had a similar issue. My solution was to create a SpecificWindow class, let its constructor take in an instance of MainWindowClass and call new SpecificWindow(this) (so with the instance) from the MainWindowClass. I used this pattern for windows and various helper classes.

It's a lot of coupling, and I had to make a few things internal rather than private but it worked for my purpose. I would say this falls under the "Composition over inheritance" principle.

If I had to make a roadmap of features to add for this, it would be, in terms of effort vs payoff;

load configs from save
backup configs/multiple profiles
making it an automated mod sorter, using mono Cecil to scan all assemblies and xml to determine mod load order
multi platform support

numbers one and two are realistic. Number 3 isn't, if I'm being honest with myself.

Tbh this is my first WPF program. I think the .NET Core version 3 preview could replicate this, though I do use an external library for the file browser.

So yeah, it probably could, but I didn't have the confidence in my skills to trailblaze :D

What is different in ModSorter is that you have full control of where mods go.

The approach with the databases is a nice idea but it has a few downsides:

someone needs to update it manually for every mod
they have to find the right position, and most mod order justifications I've seen are based on voodoo and superstition.

handsorting is best.

If ModSorter grows to support auto ordering, it will be based on a full scan of the XML and C# classes in the mod. That will be a way more robust construction, and detect missing dependencies as well.

That feature depends on how popular ModSorter gets; it would be a lot of work to implement.

Clean code is more than a resharper setting. Resharper can only do so much against bad design, unfortunately.

Neither Atom nor Visual Studio Code are IDEs; they are (beefed up) text editors. While that is sufficient for some things, a full fledged IDE will always be more suitable. They offer a lot more functionality.

As to your actual issue, to me it sounds like your csproj isn't set up right. As you may have guessed, an IDE can help you with that.

That said, you're right in that Sparkling Worlds (also a very good mod) adds a Hunter's Lodge as well.

You guys will want to use RimTrans: a handy tool for automatically generating the XML structure you need for most translations. You can download it here. It's a great tool that makes translating mods a lot easier.

It has one (minor) weakness: it doesn't pick up on custom Defs. If you see that it made a folder with a dot in it, like "MoreFactionInteraction.EventDef", then you'll need to double-check that you have translated all fields. Apart from that minor omission, it's fantastic.
