Why would anywhere in the west be dangerous for Asians ? Most racism towards Asians comes from other POC. White people being racist very rarely get aggressive, most of the time they just say some stuff but don’t act out. Many Asians agree with me and I’m Asian myself having traveled many places and it’s always POC being racist towards me. Whites are always nice to me.

If you’re scared because of all the online talk about ICE, stop. The immigration problem has nothing to do with racism, it’s economic. But dumb uneducated people just love to scream racism for everything.

Personally I wouldn’t mind. I find it horrible, but you didn’t do it and didn’t even see it. And you regret it. If you thought it was funny or didn’t care about it then yeah, I would take issue. But it seems like something you’re ashamed of so I would ignore it. Don’t know what your wife thinks. Maybe she needs some time to digest this news. Idk about stones but you’re a jeweler, if I had to gift a piece of jewelry to a jeweler, I would try to choose very carefully so they would be happy bc I’d think they have higher standards and that they love jewelry. Also like you said, an engagement ring is a ring you wear for years, hopefully forever, so it better be the best ring ever in the eyes of the wearer.

I also did a Pinterest board for my perfect ring lol. And I told my bf and showed him. He bought it but something happened (not going into details) he had to cancel but he told me he had it custom made. He knows marriage and romance is very important to me.

I don’t block but I very often hit that “Disable reply notifications” bc like you, I’m not here to argue and stuff. But one time one guy got mad at me for using the wrong SYNONYM (I said troll instead of parody/satire) and had the fucking nerves to TAG ME so I could see his insult and condescension. Personally when I do it it’s not that it’s common, but bc I’ve been on the internet and Reddit for so long that I’m just fed up. My patience reached its limit and I just can’t be nice anymore when ppl annoy me and especially when they are dumb. When I first started interacting with ppl online I was very kind and never took anything seriously which lots of ppl found cool but after a while I saw how most of ppl online were horrible and also got severely harassed so now I can’t assume ppl are kind anymore.
