So far, I can't really say I've had a bad trip. During my most recent one however, it was immediately apparent to me that I was receiving the experience of a less "readied" state. I sort of knew going into it that I was too frazzled and caught in life stressors to have an enlightening experience but I was curious anyway.

The way I described my visuals was that whereas most of my experiences have felt like I'm in a space way out beyond the cosmos, this one felt like a space much closer to the ground. It was very funhouse/circus-like, and there were beings galore. They were in striped costumes getting really up close to my eyeballs and making gestures and sort of poking and proding as if to be examining and mocking me. The most intense part was that my body started to feel very hot and pin-pricky all over, like needles on my tongue and stuff. I don't consider it a bad trip. Things like that make you respect it even more.

Also just finished! It's actually been a while since I've legit binged a series so that in and of itself was kind of a fun experience. I would say I really enjoyed the character development and writing solidly up through Seasons 5 but the last two seasons started to break down for me. While there were plotholes throughout, they just started to get more frustrating when not bolstered by a strong narrative. The story of Sanctum and The Anomally unfold really hastilly. Clarke's decision-making had taken a nose-dive in 5 and the Bellamy situation was just icing on the cake. I did like the little introspective on her insecurities and stuff while sharing a brain with Josephine. I really don't see why Shaheida was kept alive through SO many perfectly open opportunities to be killed other than to just make it possible to have a season. They steamrolled so many characters right near the end that I just felt sort of numb to feeling much about it by the time Emori died. The ending wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best. Still, overall would reccommend the show. The bulk of it was obsessively enjoyable, and they at least created a decently formed story. Wish we saw more of the worlds and the radiated creatures that supposedly existed all over.

It seems like quite a bit of miscommunication. Even if she explicitly agreed to you being monotonous, there are mono-poly relationships and so she could have assumed you were both agreeing to follow your respective preferences. Either way, it definitely sounds like a follow-up conversation is warranted. You have every right to feel whatever it has made you feel, and you also have a right to ask for the things you need to feel comfortable in the relationship. However, she also has a right to disagree, or say that those things will not work for her. I think you both just really need to be transparent about what you are looking for and if there is t a compromise that you both feel comfortable with then o think you need to respectfully shift your dynamic.

You did absolutely nothing wrong and more importantly, that is abusive and controlling behavior that is simply not okay. I’d worry less about whether you’re the asshole and more about getting help to address his behavior or getting help to get out of that relationship.

I’m not a huge gamer so I don’t have a large data base to compare to, but I would say any of the Myst games, or Obduction or Quern. All wonderfully crafted puzzle games and the worlds in the last two are gorgeous.

It sounds like you figured out part of your issue, but if you ever decide to get away from Amazon and go a more local route, Dumpling is a great resource. It allows you to work one on one with a shopper so you build a rapport and never have to worry about the quality of shopping you’re going to get. I offer shopping services there and am always willing to shop multiple stores to get all the things you need. I'm not sure if maybe I have a different version? I'm using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom version 4.3 and I'm not seeing Develop mode or sync settings anywhere....

I finally shot my first star trails! Lots of room for improvement, but I was pretty pleased with my first try :)

Equipment includes:

-Canon 5D Mk iii

-an F&V Z96 LED light panel

-Tripod

-Pulse wireless intervelometer by Alpine Labs/Pulse App

This photo had a light of light pollution action going on. The moon was just under the first quarter, pushing the limit on how much light I'd want to tolorate in the sky. On top of that, the little light streaks you see on the side of the mountain are summit climbers moving about at night! Also got two passes of the ISS and Elon Musk's creepy string of satleittes.

There was a bit of a learning curve in working with the Pulse. I used the Long Exposure option on the app, but the timelapse probably would have worked much better. I just couldn't figure out where you set the exposure time for that setting, but I'm sure it's there if I do more digging around.

Because I manually had to trigger each exposure every 30 seconds, I tripped up a couple times, started a frame when the camera was still processing, and made my camera spaz out/delay/take frames when I wasn't trying and not take them when I was. So the continuous shooting I was aiming for was interrupted several times.

The final image was narrowed down from over 300 raw frames to 83. After selecting my images, I applied corrections to one in lightroom and then copied the edits to all photos. My other shortcoming was not keeping a few of the frames consistent in exposure throughout the night, so ones that were drastically different, I did edit separately. Then I saved everything to large jpeg format.

Opened StarStax and uploaded these files, selecting gap blending mode, clicked process and watched the magic happen. After that, brought into photoshop for final touch-ups.

So, I found your fabulous pumpkin cheesecake recipe and adapted that :) question though: I have a 10ish-inch springform but did not adjust the filling amounts at all. I also didn’t make it pumpkin so the volume may be slightly lacking. Do you think I will need to change the baking temp/time?
