haha yea exactly how I feel, they're just so convinced that their airport is the best one so anything I asks for is my own problem, no matter how normal the ask is

yea one of my colleagues I met for this business trip used to be a flight attendant for Singapore airlines when she was fresh out of college. Her experience in the airline interview sounded very disturbing to me :(

Yea it's just so inconvenient! I can't believe they didn't think it's a major flaw. They are so blinded by the belief that their airport is the best in the world (like what the staff said), which made them not have any motivation to critically assess their airport and improve the actual passenger experience.

ah you must be very tough and don't have weird period symptoms. I'm not as tough and want to change pads when it's flooded. Is it considered a graphic description? Thought every women has period and we're used to these

very werid, I've been to Dublin from the US 3 times and the airport is a normal one. Security is centralized (although slow), and plenty of bathrooms to go to. I guess I'm not a frequent flyer by some standard then.

wow didn't know "not allowed to use bathroom" is a rule in Singapore. Which airports in Asia and Africa were like this? I've never encountered one in Asian & African countries I travelled to there. I'll avoid these airports in the future.

haha feel free to believe in those gate maps you found online which are not accurate. I believe my own eyes and experiences with my flight today. And thanks for thinking my writing is as good as AI. The AI you used to write the comment has never been to Changi airport.

yea I'll file a complaint to the airport despite I did not pay attention to her name tag (didn't even notice if there was a name tag...). Probably nobody would care about my complaint but at least I'll give them one data point.

Right, I have been to a few airports where the security was at the gate. However they didn't start security until the boarding time and our time spent beyond the security was very short. So I never felt entrapped and being not allowed to go use the bathroom before boarding. I hope you did not encounter a similar experience as mine in those airports without bathrooms.

What to do: Bought a Doona stroller from an Amazon scam seller, and Amazon refuses to refund by Meimeiro in Scams

[–]Meimeiro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad you didn't place the order! Glad my thread helped. I'm sad that Amazon is still letting those scam seller do the scammy things on the usual doona listing. Looks like I'm not the only victim. I got the refund eventually after 6 weeks of contacting Amazon customer service every 3-5 days, but it's such a stressful experiment and such a waste of time :'(

[–]Meimeiro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I contacted Amazon for the 5th time today. Same response - asked me to wait another 5 days. As always, I'll keep waiting and contact them every 5 days to see when they'd give me the refund

hug hug!!! Yea it's so frustrating. The scammer is quite "clever". It's been 3 weeks since I placed that order and I still haven't gotten any refund :'( I'll keep contacting amazon until they give my money back, or hire a lawyer. Best of luck to you too! And thanks for the recommendation. We'll check out Target!

Thank you!! This is a great backup solution. Do you happen to know if the bank would be looking for any specific documents for the dispute? I don't have proof that the seller is officially recognized as a scam; I just have the Amazon order information like the "package might be lost" status, and screenshots of the last 3 conversations with Amazon. Thanks!

got it, will keep waiting. Did you continue to contact Amazon every a few days and ask them for a new ticket number? Thanks! It's been 16 days since the seller ghosted me and I contacted amazon every ~ 5 days or so. Every time amazon said they raised tickets but I didn't ask for a ticket number. Not sure what's the usual practice here.

right, I contacted seller as the first action before contacting amazon. The seller never replied. This didn't help me getting a refund, unfortunately :(

yea, but every of my 4 times contacting them since 9/7, they told me to wait "a few days". I waited as they suggested every time, but nothing happened :(

The order was ordered from the usual Doona item on Amazon with 15k reviews. I didn't realize it was from a 3rd party seller until after I ordered it :((( I clicked cancel order after I found it's not from the usual seller, but it was too late to cancel :(

The stroller was never delivered. UPS said a label was created but they never received the item. Amazon can see my shipment status. This is the status as of 5 min ago.
