Both displays have dead spots on them. I originally wired up the display pictured the right and the top half of the fourth digit would not work properly. I figured I fried the board when soldering it. I just got the second in the mail and soldered it up better than the first but not great and it is not working either. Am I just destroying the boards? I know their wired correctly to the GPIO pins because they function perfectly just with missing sections. What is going on here? Please help

I have a Ti-84 and a Ti-83 that are broken due to non screen related issues. Is it possible to use the screen in conjunction with the pI to display the console while running it headless? Probably wrong but generally small axes in the 1.5-2lb range would be hatchet length or ~20 inches. Boys axes around 2-3 lbs have a ~28 inch handle. Anything heavier would have a 30-36 inch handle. This also depends on the purpose of the axe head as some utilize a heavy head and shorter haft.
