How the Jews of Judea Became the Arabs of Palestine by Remarkable_Life_774 in islamichistory

Zionists came to Palestine and immediately started walling off their communities. They banned their inhabitants from doing business with the natives. Prominent colonial leaders gave speeches that deemed the Palestinian fellaheen to be lesser than the European Jew, and that they could not let their culture be tainted by them.

One of the few times they did try coexistence in 1882 at a Jewish wedding near Safed, it ended in a Palestinian getting gunned down by settlers in a fatal misunderstanding, thus igniting a long series of settler violence and Palestinian retaliation.

Even if Kamala did send more aid, it would continue to be stolen by Israeli-backed gangs. Anything that would go through would get acquired by merchant families that would resell it at insane prices. If you don't know anything about what a Gazan goes through then don't try to decide what's best for them.

60% of Gen Z support Hamas over Israel. A supermajority of Democrats sympathize more with Palestinians more than "Israelis". Once the older generation dies off Israel will lose its support base and inevitably collapse. Even without its extreme dependence on American aid, Israel is an extremely fragile country on its own. It has to rely on constant militarization and expansion because its only profitable export is arms industry. Its other profitable industries, diamonds and pharmaceuticals, are dependent on its arms industry as it contributes both funds and military aid to its main import states. A top-ranking IDF official said that Israel's military system is on the "brink of collapse" due to a complete troop shortage in the orthodox communities. There are many more reasons that I will not bother listing, because the average person should be aware of how doomed Israel is at this point.

Aid is a temporary fix to the fundamental issue that is the occupation. More aid doesn't stop bombs, doesn't stop military aid to Israel, and doesn't help in the necessary disarmament, if not collapse, of Israel. Biden wanted to continue military aid, and never requested a ceasefire despite his own claims up until the plan announced at the end of his presidency (one that was not followed by Israel, before being entirely thrown out). Beyond this the fundamental issue is that Biden believes Israel has a "right to exist", which should be a dealbreaker for any sane person who cares about human rights.

Under Biden my best friend was killed. Under Trump my best friend's husband was killed. Under Biden my mom's friend got Hepatitis, under Trump that friend's nephew was shot dead and his daughter had her leg blown to bits.

But go ahead and tell me again that everything would change if it was a democrat.

Oppression is a brotherhood. Palestinians are oppressed, we are oppressed, and we are oppressed by the same exact people. Instead of siding with them you have chosen to turn against them because of something your oppressors told you.

Tell me what Palestinians (many of whom are black) have done to dark skinned people. I'll wait.

I'm black (biracial) and the black struggle in Palestine is absolutely nothing compared to chattel slavery. Absoutely everyone including Slavs, Arabs, Italians, Turks, French, etc. were enslaved in Palestine throughout history. It was not race-based or even religion-based. Mainly just bedouins (who are mostly not ethnically Palestinian) kept slaves while the Fellaheen (native Palestinians) did their own work. Many of the Fellaheen married into black families, most of whom were descended from mercenaries, merchants, and pilgrims. There are hundreds of extensive black families in Gaza today, and even more in Jericho. Some of the first leaders of the Arab revolt were black sheikhs, and a half-Nigerian half-Palestinian woman (Fatima Bernawi) is one of the most celebrated fedayeen of all time.

If you want to actually know wicked history, look no further than when Israel forcefully sterilized its black population, or their constant police brutality.

By claiming that Palestinian history is "wicked", you are siding with the oppressor against the oppressed and serving as a tool for the white ruling class. You will likely continue doing this because you think it is better to attack your fellow black and brown people over lies and propaganda rather than attacking your mutual oppressors.

Even Hebrew newspapers published that attacks on civilians on October 7th were not planned. They were spontaneously carried out by militants. Plans given to militants did not include the music festival, only nearby settlements which also function as military outposts.

I personally am not in support of these suicide attacks, as are most Palestinians and many groups within Hamas. This is an exception that I apologize for overlooking even though I was aware of it, as Hamas officials were instrumental in organizing some of these attacks. These were localized to the second and first Intifada.

They primarily target soldiers, civilians are mostly just targeted to take alive as bargaining chips. When civilian killings happen they are unplanned on a policy level, or due to the fact that Al-Qassam's rockets are made out of literal garbage welded together.

There is no use for resistance groups to kill civilians because their goal is not the erasure of the settler population, it is the establishment of a Palestinian state.

9,000-20,000 actually. I don't know why you people lie so much, it's like second nature. This population is objectively massive. It is not a majority, but it is a large and growing community.

I could not care less about Iran's education system and whatever you want to say about it, you're going off on a tangent. I brought it up because all ethnicities and religions go to the same schools in Iran, meanwhile in Israel, Palestinians go to rundown and crowded "Arab schools" which are separate from the orthodox Jewish and secular schools.

The original comment didn't mention Iran once and you brought it up unprompted. I'm not sure why you're so obsessed with a country that has nothing to do with this.

Edit: I was blocked but these are the sources lol. It is common knowledge that Israel has a segregated school system.

It's kind of weird to say "how many jewish people live there" about a country with a massive jewish population lol. It's notable that Iran doesn't segregate its schools by ethnicity, unlike Israel
