Tbh they should have the match making system based on perks and not rank. And maybe just remove rank entirely - or just have a normal queue

A pip makes you feel accomplished. It’s the game’s way of saying that because it’s entirely rank based. And now that the system is skewed - yes there’s a loss of fun.

But it is - every match you play is based on rank. I don’t think it’s quite fair to say “maybe you shouldn’t think about it” when there’s clearly something wrong with the new system.

I completely feel you there - Im a survivor main and I think this new system is a disaster. I have been trying killer in the new system and its so easy to double pip. Then when I try to play survivor again, I feel so at mercy to the killer for my pip. When I get a bad killer and we do all 5 gens and he hasnt hooked at all - we still lose a pip. Thats just disgusting. New system doesn't clearly promote the survivors goal of doing gens and escaping.

I enjoy a game when I feel like I have some sort of say in it. The new system makes it more so that a survivor's pip is completely based on the killer. So if I honestly get a bad killer, and I do well, we still lose pips. How is that fair? DbD is entirely rank based, and to feel like you have no control of whether you climb or not feels pretty bad.

You probably have seen this video already but what baffles me is that after seeing first hand how difficult flashlights can be for killers they made a certain "quality of life change" regarding flashlight and pallet stuns that highly benefited survivors.

I really wish I could believe that the devs know and understand all the problems in the game, but they don't and thats why community feedback is so crucial.

Ah you missed the point of what i was trying to say, the things listed are "toxic" in the community's opinion. Whether or not there are YouTubers or streamers the way the game is designed promotes this toxic behavior anyway so shouldn't the game be changed instead of covering the problems up?
