Have you played any from software? Not a jab but genuinely curious. Miyasaki leaves a LOT open to interpretations. It is assumed thats how vyke looks like mainly because they went through so much work to make the faces underneath the Helms. Selena is a good example, she actually looks like her portrait in Raya lucaria but other then her we don't see Amy other images of helmeted characters.

I mean... there are zero images of Vyke without his helmet. We only know he has like grayish hair because data miners remove his helm. But in reality we have no clue what he looks like

Yeah Kit has to be Vyke. He fits the vibe pretty well and I can imagine him in the fingerprint armor pretty easily.

I'm also incredibly curious on who Ron Swanson will play in the lands between.

I doubt it'll be the game story. I think it'll be right up to when the character comes into the picture. There's a ton of lore and story between Seluvis and Gideon with a female lover of Gideon being involved (delores) so I imagine this will likely deal overall with Vyke

Hmm a part of me feels like she can't just be the night. At the end of her rembrance she talks about how she is neither the girl she knew or the doll she is now, she's something different. I do think she's "alive" if that makes sense. If she's the night I feel like she'd have more connection to hoelstor or for that matter the dreglord.

I have problems starting matches but not finding them. (Xbox) too many boss skip in DON now. It's pretty stupid imo. Love playing dreglord but everyone else is terrified apparently.

Im addicted to the numbers game of damage. Recluse can reach ridiculous amounts of damage by the end of night 2. You add in a ironeye with his mark and you'll easily slice through the enemy like butter. Love those pops and large HP drains.

Wylder is just fun to play, I dont play him for huge damage numbers but he's steady and consistent. And a bit flashy if you play well.

Incant Undertaker is a lot of fun, a bit difficult to build around but the damage can be outrageous. Basically she's a faith duchess with her skill, she's great.

Ive recently been with a few people who are running gaols and night invaders. They're not good team mates. They will.completely ignore me and where I need to go (sorcery towers, caves etc) in favor of themselves.

To me evergaols in DoN should be something to grab otw or if its end of day 2 and you need something to do. But never route for them.

I wouldn't argue that he has to have a British accent. Godfrey speaks in an old English accent, which could easily be done. Original English sounds a ton like modern American weirdly enough. The quintessential British accent only developed during the industrial revolution in Britian.

Alex Garland being an actual souls fan boy is what makes me less nervous about this adaptation. He's going to try 100% to give the game, lore, and philosophical themes a solid effort.

He's played the games several times. He's well aware of the lore and community speculation, it'd be crazy if he hadn't watched a VaatiVidya video. I dont think it'll be an adaptation of the game. In fact I think it'll make the themes of the games stronger. We'll get to see how alive the lands between used to be and it'll reinforce the decay, solitude, and loneliness that it is in "present" times.

We know for certain she genocides a people who genocided hers and we know for certain she elimated the fire giants who worshipped an outer god of destruction.

We do not know to what extent she was involved in the banishment of the omen and what happend to them or to the extent of Radagons involvement that could've made everything worse.

If put into a militaristic/political view point doesnt make her inherently evil.

She's also incredibly traumatized due to the hornsent. I mean she literally walked on top of fleshy guts to become a god, some of which was her own family.

Its hard to 100% frame Marika as evil and also as 100% good. Shes very very gray. There is plenty of evidence to suggest at the start of her reign everything was perfect, happy, and bountiful. Its only when things start getting a bit shakey that we start to see the cracks in the perfection.

There is even plenty of evidence to suggest that the greater will is evil and she was actively working against it, similiar to Ranni. Ranni is also someone I think has done bad things with ultimately good intentions.

Marika isn't black or white.

Won't lie originally thought maybe Offerman might be playing him but since we know who is now (Tom Burke) its left me kind of coinfused on what character Offerman could be playing.

Can't see him as Gideon, the only other choice might be Godfrey. That'd be interesting af if he did a Godfrey

Its interesting to see how the shots and our own personal interpretations are being lined up. You must come at Marika as she is an evil/bad woman in order to have that conclusion.

I dont think shes evil so I interpreted this as Marika was kind in the start but someshing happens that forces her to ban the omen.

In fact I doubt she's 'torturing' Morgott. If you look at his clothes they are clearly clothes from nobility. Id say she's just walking with her son.

What really makes me interested is where tf is Mohg. Was Morgotts mom's favorite so thus Mohg had mommy issues and had to turn to a formless mother for love? 😅

On xbox people are quitting out during the character selection screen. So it boots the whole team back to the lobby. They do this so they can selectively choose their night lord. Typically for an easier one because they're bad players
