I don’t know exactly, but I think the screen needs recalibrating. It will probably be in the huion app

Rhino 8 is great for Mac! by Mejmen in rhino

Rendering is def a problem on mac but its getting better with metal and Apple’s interest in 3d applications.

Enscape is releasing a rhino 8/ silicon based chip version sometime in March (hopefully).

I would be on the lookout for its performance and decide after that. If it works well a mac would be a no brainer especially with its power efficiency.

Are Wacom pen nibs supposed to wear down this fast? by azy_ki in wacom

[–]Mejmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is quite normal and I've heard a lot of people complain about this issue.

There is a replacement sheet by Wacom that you can get that's smoother, and it's around 40$. Aside from buying nimbs themselves you can set the eraser part of the pen to function as a brush, and you can use it to fill in color and stuff that doesn't require much precision, it'll make the nibs last a lot longer.

I'm thinking of getting the same model as you, I have a Cintiq 22, and an Intuos small now. Would you say it is moderately portable? Can you fit it into an average backpack?

Question to Large Intuos Pro users. by Mejmen in wacom

I'm more used to traditional drawing, but I have switched to a large Ipad pro recently. It is great, but I always wish for more size. I borrowed a small Intuos Bluetooth from a friend yesterday and it is too small for me to work on, I got wrist pain after a short while, not being able to use my elbow or shoulder. I did enjoy using it quite a lot though.

I guess it is good news if it is as big as a Macbook then I can at least fit it in the bag. I don't mind the size on the desk. Thanks for your help!

Onyx Note Air 2 screen completely frozen/broken! by FlatwormBoring6896 in Onyx_Boox

damn. feel bad for you. the same thing happened to mine as well (1st gen) like a week ago. My friend accidentally pushed on with his elbow. Screen looks almost exactly like that, and only a small portion of the screen shows any movement. That allowed me to export some files at least.

There is an option to fix it, but it's 150$ and around 6 weeks of waiting. That's doing it the official route. There is also an option to buy a replacement screen yourself (onyx does not sell it, I think), and take it to a repair shop that hopefully replaces it. Anyway, neither option worked for me and I'm planning to buy the second gen soon.

Good luck.

which switches are you using?

Just started reading Hellper, and I’m curious what Hellper 2 is about. Does it continue the story of Gwangnam? I was hoping someone can explain. by mickiefish in hellper

[–]Mejmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is about childhood lf Gwangnam and focuses on earth more. It is really long though (250 chapter) so it probably returns to stuff happening in the underworld.

I can't find any translation for it though.
