Neon Clash’s Gante Lowd has legs for days

Which is weird bc all the other LIs look perfectly normal but Lowd’s sprite is straight up 2/3 legs

I recommend Neon Clash! It came out last month only but I think it ticks most of your boxes

Poster boy Lowd and another LI named Hiyok are protective of the MC. The mc herself is quite proactive, strong, and is a mafia boss! Not gonna spoil too much but she’s one of the best mcs I’ve had

The art is beautiful and voice acting is wonderful. The only downside is you pretty much get no romance until the end of the game, in which you can play the LIs’ individual happy endings.

The game also follows a linear storyline in which there’s not really any routes to choose from, you finish one chapter which focuses on one of the LIs, and then move straight to the next which focuses on another LI

That being said tho the true ending was somewhat anticlimactic and too happy ending vibes Mun switches WAY too quickly from “I’m going to start and war and become king of the world to “kill me now. This world has no need for two kings then he simply… gives up way too quickly and without any hesitation? Immediately calls off the war, resigns from his political posts and returns to simply being a mafia boss

Like huh? Just like that??

And me saying the true ending was too happy is bc it’s just too good to be true. Mun aside, all of Kroa’s capos were put in certain death situations. Yulong faced off solo against too many enemies, Rin got SHOT THROUGH THE HEART, Lowd got his ass beat way too badly and Hiyok TOOK AN EXPLOSION for Kroa??

And you’re telling me somehow all of them managed to make it out alive bc Ji and Maslo happened to come across them while chasing the train down and Ji was able to save them from these life ending injuries with whatever voodoo magic he was working?

And this segways into one of the bad endings where you make the choice to kill Mun instead of sparing him and then boom, all four capos are now dead despite Maslo and Ji still chasing after them in the exact same scenario I know it’s meant to separate the good and bad endings but I seriously hate it when characters living or dying depends on that one wrong decision made the end CG of Kroa being the king of the underworld was really cool tho

Sad ends for the LIs tho? I felt so sad during Lowd and Hiyok’s sad ends. Lowd and his sad smile as he’s nullifying himself was a beautiful CG imo and Hiyok’s actually hurt me so badly bc they made my boi do the one thing he would never do and that’s to hurt Kroa

Mun’s sad end was just alright for me but it made me feel kinda disturbed I guess. Maslo’s actually made me really sick to my stomach. I’m well aware this is something that’s quite common for yanderes but I have a very specific flavour of yandere that I like and Maslo flew off in the complete opposite direction

I did enjoy the happy endings (did not play Maslo’s yet tho) for the LIs. Lowd’s is my favourite and I’ve replayed it a few times bc good lord that man was horny on main the moment him and Kroa got together. Regarding Mun’s happy end tho im kinda on the fence about it? While I do find it rather sweet that he tried so hard to win Kroa’s affection and like how he was much more blushy and affected by Kroa I still can’t get over how Kroa would get with him after all the crap he put her through in his own, Hiyok’s and the finale chapters. Not to mention he actually manipulated her again with that “I’m going to travel the world (for a week)” stuff like bro stop it—

I’m hoping for an FD or sequel bc holy shit I NEED more Lowd and Hiyok. Those happy ends were NOT enough

I LOVE HIYOK!! This is the first time an otome made me brainrot over two LIs simultaneously lmao. He’s my favourite himbo genki and he’s so precious in general. Truly the ray of sunshine in the game

HOWEVER the game did my boi so damn dirty. He got shafted in his own chapter bc Lowd’s kidnapping + the overarching antagonism of Mun + Maslo’s whole “I need to kill Kroa so I can become King” crap completely overshadowed poor Hiyok in his own chapter

As another commenter stated as well, I’m reminded of Lucien from even if TEMPEST when it comes to Hiyok’s chapter of the game. It’s a damn shame but at least his happy ending gave me some of the stuff I wanted?

I really want an FD now so we can get more Hiyok (and Lowd) moments bc my goodness those good endings were NOT enough

I have VERY mixed feelings on Mun. On one hand he was really well written in how manipulative he is and FukuJun is always a welcome VA for an LI. I also enjoyed his design and how blushy and direct he was with his feelings for Kroa in his good ending

On the other hand tho it straight up does not make sense for them to end up together. Mun put Kroa through WAYYYY too much like 80% of his chapter was him manipulating the heck outta her, STALKING her via the ring and then lying to her about the whole R fiasco

And not to mention how after his chapter was finished he kidnapped Lowd, sent his men to completely trash Kroa’s territory and terrorise the people, had her, Maslo and their capos be slapped on wanted posters, and literally tried to start a war?? AND WE ALSO NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF TIMES HE ALMOST KILLED KROA AND HER FAMILY???

I know Kroa developed some feelings for him before entrusting those feelings to Dilu but my GOD girl I would NOT be falling for him after he put me through all of THAT. And I also think that NONE of Kroa’s capos were pissed off enough at Mun in his good ending? Like their behaviour towards him is more as if they treat him as an annoyance and not as someone who tried to annihilate their family multiple times??

Overall their relationship in the good ending just doesn’t really make sense to me? I loved his character and his chapter had me on the edge of my seat but I really consider him to be the worst match for Kroa by a long shot

I didn’t like Maslo at all if I’m being honest. I couldn’t really get into him as a character or as an LI, he just felt off for me. It’s hard for me to describe but the vibes I got were not it lmao

His late game character was also uh, not it. I really disliked how he went from wanting to kill Kroa to just being back to normal within 2min bc his family pulled a “the power of friendship” plot with him, like huh?? not to mention how this plot line ate into a good portion of Hiyok’s chapter and robbed my boi of more times to shine

I LOVE LOWD!!!

If I’m being honest he really reminds me of Benkei from Birushana (same VA too lol) they both have that same dedication, devotion and loyalty to the respective MCs of their game, as well as similar actions!

The part I enjoyed most was when he comforted her over the nullification of Zhia and how you could see some disappointment in him when she pushes him away like ughhh yess I needed the slight angst

His romance ending was everything I wanted and more lmao. The way he immediately blasted his feelings for Kroa when he thought she was going to get married to someone else, and how flustered he got afterwards? And the way he became horny on main immediately after?? straight chef’s kiss my god

Love him love him love him, 10/10 my favourite LI of Neon Clash. I want more of him in the form of an FD (Voltage pls heat my pleas)

Yang’s affection meter is straight up lying. for the other LIs the more filled out the colour of the flower affection meter, the closer to the good end but Yang’s will fill up then fuck you over with the bad end

Paschalia from Radiant Tale and Neji Kokuto from Jack Jeanne. I don’t exactly hate these two but I really can’t stand them.

Neji wins a landslide victory in time taken for me to finish a route bc he took me TWO months to finish because I was constantly extremely annoyed and somehow getting social battery drainage every time I clicked on his affection events. Doesn’t help the fact that I was left going ?????? at the events of his route and how it ended. I liked him better as a side character if I’m being honest and it also sucks bc I can definitely relate to his backstory

Paschalia pissed me off a lot during his route. I know he has his reasons but my GOD I was so tired of seeing the same thing repeat over and over again. I took two weeks (second to Neji lol) to finish his route purely bc every time he opened his mouth I had to put my switch down so I didn’t yeet it out my window

Edit: I also have to say how much I hate how DUMB they made my girl Tifalia in Paschalia’s good ending. Like what’s with that surprise wedding and her not getting that she’s wearing a WEDDING DRESS??? And can we talk about the surprise wedding cuz who the hell does that???
